I almost teared up when he said 'i endured and did everything to make you happy so why don't you let me do what I want to do, why do you always decide for me'. He truly deserves better. From birth his mother dictated everything in his life, didn't let him have a life of his own and now even when she's given a 'second chance' she is still doing the same.
His mother is controlling everything in his life and making him live the way SHE wants him to live, And what she thinks is right, never once did she stop and think about what kangho wants for himself, its too saddening to see

This is why i don't trust the villagers, their support is only performative and empty words at the end of the day. They have done something like this in the previous episode too, supported her upfront but then went and talked behind her back

She doesnt want his son to have a wife, she wants him to have a caretaker and to tie him down so he wont become a prosecutor again(something he worked his ass of for) 😂

Oh god i hope you don't have kids. Once again I am repeating, Kang ho lost all his memories BUT the way his mom 'disciplined' him by starving and hitting him. And he remembered exactly what his mother said when mijoo got into a life threatening accident. If you think traumatizing a child to that level is OK in any way then you are sick in the head genuinely. Just bc hitting kids is 'common', it will never ever make it moral or ok to do so. So instead of defending it and normalizing actions like that, i prefer to call out abuse like that

Traumatize your kids that way and dont be shocked when those kids cut you out of their life in the future.

Kang ho is a sociopath, he doesnt know how to interact normally with others (you saw his childhood) and he believes the only right way to take his revenge is potentially putting his life at risk and hurting his loved ones in the process

How are you blaming mijoo for all this?? Kang ho screwed her over and left, regardless of his intentions he is the main reason her life turned out like this. She is working her ass off to provide for her two kids and her life would have 100% turned out a lot better if she didnt have her kids as liabilities
Besides kang ho is not successful because his mom abused him, he's a boderline sociopath who has a hard time interacting with others,
She could have urged and encouraged him to study well without traumatizing him and he'd be just as successful and a lot happier.

Kang ho after the accident was too traumatized TO EAT. Imagine abusing your son to such an extent that even after an accident where he loses all of his memory, he still remembers he has to starve to make his mom happy.

Idc what you say abusing your kids like that will never ever be moral, there are other ways to discipline your kids. You are defending beating (till there were scars all over his body) and starving a 7 year old btw, i want you to sit down and think why its disgusting

You still don't cut off your family just because they don't agree with you. They didn't even try convincing the mom on why he's a nice guy and both the times he met their mom he showed them his stuck up arrogant attitude and walked away

Mijoos mom wasn't abusive either, I don't see her turning out to be a bad person? If you think the only way to discipline a child is by hitting them then pls don't have kids

I never denied she was a terrible and abusive parent, her intentions don't matter. People in the comments saying that she was not abusive and someone even said parents need to hit their kids to discipline them and used samsik as an example have lost their minds.

But I did feel bad for her and how she took the blame of the accident on herself for the things she put Kang ho through, and she did admit her mistakes so I felt pity on her

But she is so reactive and impulsive, she still doesn't think about about her actions before doing it that it's frustrating to watch

Hopefully Kang ho has a plan B for his revenge

Tae soo got to them I think, that's why the fish restaurant guy kept calling Kang ho when when was going to his mom's house

Kang ho wanted to kill 2 birds in 1 shot. He wanted to gain woo byeok's trust and he wanted to save that guy, since that guy had no other option than to go to jail since woo byeok is powerful, he had to go to jail first for his plan to work I'm assuming

The mom put him through all that traumatizing shit during childhood to take revenge for his father, but she's tracking back after all the hard part is over😫
Kango ho just had to present those evidences, now everything he worked hard for and risked his life for is gone. I am so mad

She keeps doing things she 'thinks' is good for her son but adversely effect him in the long run

Defending young soo is getting harder and harder every episode lol

The best part of the show is easily the twins relationship with kang ho.
Its so lovely whenever kangho plays with the kids and mijoo just watches them with sorrow in her eyes. And the little boy saying he wants to go to the bath house with his dad and mijoo immediately asking kang ho to take him was cute,

Those kids are great actors and their comedic timing is good. Love all the castings in this drama, they all embody their character very well

I love all the characters except sam sik. He is such an annoying character, never actively looks for jobs and just whines and cries and follows mijoo around. He is not even funny, i roll my eyes everytime he comes on screen. I do not like useless incompetent characters like him who ruins their life and then cries about it instead of taking actions
Also why is he shown as the main character

She was abusive in his childhood there is no ifs and buts. I did not blame kang ho at all for completing cuting off his ties with his mother.
BUT when given a second chance she did prove herself to be better so I wont be criticizing her too much, everyone deserves a second chance, i did appreciate how she admitted she was wrong and ignorant and thought she was doing the best for a child but in turn harming him in the long run
She even took the blame on kang ho being corrupt and heartless prosecutor

Thats literally her child? I get that she was controlling at first, but business or not no one wants to see their loved one marrying a criminal especially since he got jailed for violence, not for something petty like stealing.

Its overall a nice watch, i expected more seeing so many positive reviews and ratings but its not a total disappointment either, i will recommend

The drama was much more interesting in the present storyline(ie after around 22 eps) than the past. Past was too draggy and served no purpose other than showing how they fell in love

All the detailed explanation on coding was too boring and dragging, when i skipped those parts the eps was just 30 mins lol.

As for their chemistry its 7/10, did not give me butterflies in my stomach lol but did not bore me to death either
