She definitely would have climbed the tree with him if jang uk had not made a fuss about him earlier. At that point imo she still liked seo yul romantically but she cared about jang uk as a friend, so she just didn't want to make him upset.
She caught feelings for jang uk just before he left for that magic school idr its name lol

It was a bit underwhelming and the ending episode should have been longer

Most of the time the mls are shown as kind of cold character or anti heroes and y'all always find that hot. God forbid in ONE drama the girl isn't a pushover and has a motive its a huge issue😑

I personally liked the ending. I think na hee do deserves better than yi jin.

Yes yi jin is a sweetheart and loved hee do dearly. But I empathize with hee do, throughout her childhood she has always been the second choice, waiting for her mother but getting her plans cancelled at last minute bc of her job and she was always expected to be understanding and adjust to that. It is not fair that she is expected to adjust that way in her adult relationship as well. She deserves someone who can be actively present in her life and fill the void of loneliness in her heart.
Yi jin leaving that job wont make them happy either since he didn't go to college and he'll have no other means to earn money.

Maybe its just me but i love bittersweet or sad endings lmao, it just stays with you. Like this would have been a normal love story if thy both ended up together, no one would be crying and reminiscing over this after so many months. It just sticks with you like a sour taste

But my unrealistic petty ass still hopes that her husband died or something and those two kind of reunites in the end like in how i met your mother lol

The ending is kind of better than those two dramas, you'll feel like crying but in a heartwarming way. You'll understand why they did it at the end even though its sad

One of the best and heartwarming but at the same time it was heartbreaking. Despite knowing the ending I couldn't stop crying.
Its a wonderful drama , amazing ost, cast and story i hope people dont put it off bc of its ending

Understandable. But up until episode 19 and half of episode 20 it was one of the best dramas ever. Watching their love unfold slowly and them slowly accepting each other was beautiful. If it makes you feel better, their souls return only during the last 10 mins of the show, you can easily pretend that part did not exist lol

I think you should give the original another try. Up until episode 6 its kind of confusing and boring and i was about to drop it. But once she goes the the past, the story gets soooo much better from there trust me. I dont think I'll ever watch a drama like that again

I lovedd the Taiwan version of this. One of my most favorite dramas ever!!! The amount of emotions it put me through was unbelievable. I have never laughed hysterically or cried my eyes out bc of any drama other than this one.

I'm not sure about the cast in this remake though. Especially yeon been is not that good of an actress imo, i had to stop watching vicenzo midway bc her acting was annoying and she exaggerates her emotions😅
Same goes with AHS. He's not a bad actor but the character is supposed to be a cheeky teenager and idt he is right for this role. Like he's been overshadowed in almost every drama he played it. I dont think he has the charm or stand outish personality as li zi wei(the main lead)

One of the main reasons i enjoyed the original sm was bc the main leads were amazing actors. So hopefully these two pull through and dont disappoint

Other than that everything is perfect, from story to ost to acting. The way Bong hwan and the king slowly warms up to each other is so heart warming

Genuinely one of the funniest kdrama, i ususally dont vibe with kdrama humor bc I feel like they try too hard but I was laughing my eyes out in every episode in this one

OMG Shin hye sun is one of the best actress and she is not appreciated enough for my liking. The way she portrayed the conflicting emotions of bong kwan and so yong is perfect. You'd totally be convinced that there are 2 souls inside her, the subtle expression change during the real queen's flashing thoughts and during the contracting thoughts of queen and bong hwan was too good.
She is truly so versatile
Her comedic timings are so good which most actors cant achieve without it looking corny. I dont think i would have enjoyed this drama this much if it wasn't for her

I hope we get to see her in more dramas soon.

Also wish this drama comes on Netflix so i can rewatch whenever i feel like

This show is a solid 9 or 9.5 till the second last episode. I rated it an 8
The king loved Jang Bong Hwan's bold personality and vice versa, he had no feelings for the queen. Maybe they should've found a way for his soul to stay in that body or at least for them to get a proper goodbye.
Kim so yong's soul returned back without any explanation and you can clearly see that the king is slowly realizing that she is not the person he loved.

Kind of a sad open ending if that makes sense. Since there is a s2 coming on december. i am pretty sure they'll give them a happy end that time. Its a great drama though dont make that stop you from watching

Woah when I heard this was a lesbian story from Twitter, i thought it was in a queerbaiting way like usual.
I did not expect to see actual lesbian p0rn before watching this.
Anyways the story was good and interesting but half of the movie is just them having s*x

The girl's character was very annoying maybe it was the actress but I couldn't stand her 'I'm so quirky personality' had to drop it after 5 episodes
