TO EVERYONE TELLING THAT THE FIRST FEW EPISODES ARE BORING I WOULD TELL YOU TO CONTINUE WATCHING IT BECAUSE THE ACTUAL STORY SUSPENSE STARTS AROUND EP5 AFTER WHICH YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO STOP WATCHING THIS DRAMA. I was about to stop this show after episode 4 but thank god i continued watching it .PLS DO YOURSELVES A FAVOR AND WATCH THIS!!

Homophobic remarks like them joking about min hyunk being gay and her mother telling bong soon to "seduce" Min hyuk and make him straight. I am only in episode 5 but there are soo many instances of boog soon getting wierded out because min hyuk "acted gay" whatever that means. Or her friend convincing bong soon that Min hyunk is straight because he seems to have a crush on her. As if bi/pan or other lgbtq+ ppl doesn't exist. SEXIST remarks like so many instances the people assume bong soon is a boy because she is strong. People getting more embarrassed by getting beaten up by a girl rather than getting embarrased for the shit they did. Or Gook du insisting that she is a weak little girl who requires protection and that she can't walk alone. And his need to 'protect' her by restricting her to do as she wishes and acting annoyingly possesive. And her mother treating her dad like a money machine and gives 0 respect to him as a person. Also there are soo many instances where bong soon is expected to cook and work for her brother even though both of them has a job. There were times when the brother demands her get get him food or water.
Even though Min hyunk is very strong they made her character feeble, naive and kind of stupid and whiny and someone who is in constant need of protection. Basically all stereotypical annoying female characters in kdramas with the only difference being her super power. Also i am annoyed by the inconsistency of bong soon as a body gaurd. Just 5 episodes in amd a man has been stabbed and shot in her presence. And even though she is the body gaurd here most of the times its Min hyuk is the one protecting her. I am sorry if it seems like I am going too deep into this but these kind of stuff really bothers me. Hopefully if gets better soon. I think these shows are better suited for ages 12-14.

I am just in 5th episode and I can't stand this middle school humor and i don't see any romantic connection between the main leads as of now. She genuinely seems to hate him and is annoyed by his presence. So far i don't get the hype of this show but i guess I will continue watching it because this is literally everyone's favorite show so I really want to check out what the big deal is.
