I had much higher hopes for Huan niang, but there goes that ~ Positive note though! I have a feeling that Bai Fenxi's master's response will be the good kind :) hopefully!

ahaha I'm literally doubting everything -- what these dramas do to me ~

I was 100% going to drop this drama (I can't handle all this toxic and just horrible people today; honestly, these people have issues), but the FL's last decision in episode 5 may have slightly changed my decision. let's see how it turns out in episode 6, if it doesn't get better *sighs* ~

I already know that I'll love Feng Xiyun's family ~ Can't wait to get to know them in those future episodes!

I honestly appreciate the fact that the king (/head of the state) knows what's going on and the queen straight up acknowledges what she did. (there's literally so many dramas where the king is just clueless and just a scheming queen/empress that never is confronted until the very end of the drama or something)

I'm pretty confused about one thing -- Is Feng Xiyun (or just Bai Fengxi) the princess of the royal family or the princess of a state? I thought it was just that she was the princess of one of the states, but then the scene in ep 14 at the palace's forbidden ground just made me think that she's the princess of the actual royal family? but if she's the princess of the royal family, and the ML's mother is her aunt, then I don't think that's what the drama would portray?

I just realized the last episode airing date is still a month away -- why did i start watching this earlyy

Honestly a good actor. Though I haven't seen all of her dramas, her character in Ruyi's Royal Love in the Palace was really dislikable, but I really liked her character in the Lady in Butcher's House!

I was just looking at the other dramas the cast partakes in -- why am I kind of surprised about it? ahaha, I'm literally like "oh right, so that's why I find you so familiar" xD
