I actually like how cui lin manipulated Li ni.
all is fair in love and war. we rarely ever get an FL who has her priorities straight . she is a lieutenant first with a mission and she employing everything in her arsenal to achieve it. I respect her even more for this.
on the other hand , I do feel for Li Ni he is just so sincere with his heart. I love him.

Because she knows his condition from 4 years ago when he was delirious and revealed too many things about his identity . Remember that everyone thinks of him as this gentle nice person.
he thought she was stupid before and didn't remember the encounter but she keeps proving to be smarter than he thought and can weaponize what he told her. that's why he keeps threatening to kill her.

I loved the qin scene as well. differing in a funny way from the trope of ML catching the FL as she falls. 😂

this show is truly setting the bar too high for FLs . Bai lu is super calculative and intelligent but also in a believable way because she simply learned from her mistakes. I just love her already.
As for MLs, by god this got to be the scariest ML we got this year. and he doesn't have to even kill or torture . Just one look from ZLH asks you to rethink your whole life . he is really that good here. also highly intelligent and perceptive. Giving FL a run for her money . Villains aren't stupid either.
politics are heavy and I have dometimes to replay scenes but I guess it's because too many characters are introduced in the beginning and it'll become easier once I get familiar with everyone.
10/10 . I hope everyone give this show a go.

Last week I was lamenting how I had literally nothing to watch for more than a month and today I have this literally my most anticipated this year and wonderland of love . both great and different 😭😭 #blessed.

she is injured so it's human of her to have lost few times. I hope to see her back in top form soon. what reassures me is that her mind is still pretty sharp as in the first episode and on par with ML.

You described xie wei so well. he could break a brick with that JAW alone . SO FREAKING SEXY. I mean I found ZLH sexy before as well but here the HOT thermometer in this scary role with that low voice is off the charts

the actress playing princess leyang is so beautiful as well. so many pretty people in this drama . we are well fed 😂

zhang linghe is making a fan out of me. I watched him before in my journey to you and loved him there. and here he is just inconceivably different and making my heart flutter in a different (scary) kinda a way. his range so far is pretty good and that's only from two dramas of his I watched.

Just finished watching the 6 episodes and omg yall it's amazing. it could very well compete for top spot on my fave list this year.
I hate Yan Lin though. knowing what he did in first life. I rolled my eyes when FL was saying how too good he is to her. Like wtf.

FIRST EPISODE IS GREAT YALL. both leads are slaying. FL's personality is highly intelligent just what I like. ML is still a mystery. a scary mystery that is.

exactly. ultimately it doesn't matter it's fictional story in both cases whether it's a novel within a cdrama or just a cdrama . I am feeling better after seeing the first episode. it's very good. that scene with Bai lu the writer don't seem important to the story..
going back to watch the rest.

I'm at the 6th min mark all excited and it's like a modern girl writing a novel again . Not what I had in mind. I don't think I would enjoy investing 30 plus episodes in a story where at the end she'll go back to reality and none of it would have been real. difficult to see a happy ending as well. I just hope the main character from the story is a different entity from the writer and we don't hear from the writer ever again and this is just a way to bypass censorship.
From trailer i thought that it was strictly going to be a dream or like a premonition instead.
I'll continue the first episodes because the quality is there. But not quite as sure about this now...
