Okay one question. What did the super nice Princess do wrong?
Her kindness doesn't matter. if she is killed. which is a plausible scenario in a battlefield. everyone will be toast. Regardless of her very noble intentions being a lab rat or pursuing a romance quest. As for not minding being offended, her non chalant attitude matters little if word of sexual/verbal/(etiquette ?) impropriety reaches the palace. the offenders will have to answer to it.
I don't think he likes FCY; in fact, he seems to have already realized that Xie Zheng is lying to her.
nah . it is hinted at at multiple occasions. his expression when she was explaining to that old tutor how wonderful her husband is. then that whole sequence where he was unsettled with FL reuniting with ML. I don't think he realizes at at any point of time the identity of ML. I would love to be wrong.

Reckless main character syndrome. Endangering everyone around her..she doesn't belong in a battlefield. her potentially getting hurt (or even offended apparently ?) would have catastrophic consequences on ML and his friends.
if she wants to play nice doctor , I am sure there are multiple nice nobles and nice commoners alike coughing blood in her nice palace.
I am really disliking multiple dynamics these last 2 episodes: That whole stunt with FL and the sui brother , and the military disciplinary masquerade.. Seriously the most disappointing thing is the ML.. I don't understand any of his decisions and it seems most of it is just to drive the misunderstanding trope. I hate that Princess so damn much even fastfowarding her scenes aren't enough anymore cuz she appears more and more with leads. I dislike that they keep making all the men around FL like her. especially that bandit leader dude who i was really hoping they develop a sincere camaraderie kind of relationship.
On the bright side FL got one hell of Epic fight scene. so I hope we get to witness more badassery and growth from her .
I really dislike that princess character. reckless and doesn't care about the danger she could be putting others in just to protect her. I am sure there are all sorts of sick people right at the palace if her intent was noble. but no let's go girlbossing at battlefield for romance.
The whole sequence in the town, from an choreography, cinematography, story and emotional standpoint , was perfectly filmed and executed. ngl I never really liked this FL before . Found her a bit childish in some of her earlier characters. But I cannot imagine someone else in this role. she is exquisite in every scene. the actress struck the perfect balance of a young naive country girl but strong and resilient. she now goes to my top 5 FLs easily.
I still get the creeps whenever I see that white haired lord and fast forward his scenes. But man that brother of his. now his kinda of creeps in entertaining. he was cray cray . Getting hit by all those arrows and smiling that devilishly. I wish he also has plot armor and survives.
one thing I appreciate is how conscious screenwriters of how handsome ML is, and so they had characters make remarks abt it. I always found it weird in other shows where FL or ML are standouts look wise but the people around them aren't noticing or even think they are ugly if plot calls for it.
ngl couldn't care less about manager yu and what his face qi's relationship. And also crossdresser princess and the ML's friend. I feel like skipping both their scenes most of the times. unless ML or FL are in those scenes as well. But I am enjoying other side characters though, the neighbors ,Mr Li , even the insufferable gossip lady had a touching moment today ..
I really could have an hour of FL only fighting bad guys and not get bored.
