First of all you I don't think it's spreading negativity when it's critiquing a fictional show. I feel like here people get very protective about dramas and they think any dissenting voice is out to get the actors or production or whatever and it is ridiculous lmao 🤣
That said, I disagree with your take, imo 300 years of suffering might do that to one's personality. So i feel there is no inconsistency but right character arc for HRY.
As for BJS , he was always indifferent to humans , compared them to ants in the first life. so I don't how he was "suddenly" cold hearted when it came to humans. he only ever cared about heaven's will and HRY.

ML will see experience her past and come to regret his actions and FL will see that ML have actually shielded her from punishment from heaven and took it instead of her . if the latter doesn't happen I don't see how it is possible fot her to let go and have a HE with ML.
I am actually hoping they topple the Empyreans together so it means they don't ascend to a higher realm since it wont exist anymore 👀

I saw this exact scenario multiple times. An Ml that would be a murderous maniac , a pathologival liar, or will cause a calamity to the entire human race but uwuuuu he is handsome and a baby and FL is the actual devil to not fall into his arms immediately and let people be slaughtered. most comments this direction come from women as well. an ML is allowed an arc and is sympathized with no matter the wrongs he does. but god forbid an FL isn't love brained and has a moral compass that goes against ML.
