I am not sure I would have liked it if he were a female though because maybe we have too many spoiled females in cdramas and it would have just been another one of those. As for Long Yuan yeah he is just unlikeable lmao.

voice dubbing takes a lot from cdramas and is one of the reasons they aren't yet as popular as they should be. (compared to their korean counterpart that I'm not a huge fan of )
like this scene hits hard from ML the voice is part of the acting and he was just excellent here and better than the final draft wr got .
