LMAO I really don't understand how an ML should be decided by a trauma olympics sorry. Even if he got through zero trauma which in this case not true doesn't make his hero journey any less legitimate or relatable for storytelling

I beg to differ. That's just his distrustful nature. he had zero evidence to back up his "unfounded" suspicions. plus in the recent episodes he is clearly shown to have somewhat moved on from his distrust of her refusing to use his brother's poison for example and his affections.

it's a mystery romance. Very dramatic. there are light moments but the tone is very dark.
it's my second favorite show this year after LYF. so in my opinon VERY much worth it.

I am not connecting with SQQ because in 16 eps I still not sure I got one statement or feeling of hers that was real. she is lying through her teeth in every scene with GSJ. seemingly never once dropping her act. and so i cannot either love her or hate her becaise I simply don't know her yet.

I love how the assasins are fleshed out human beings. there are no 100% evil or good character nor stupid and smart characters. instead we have nuanced imperfect characters all around. I find this show has done a great job with laying out its world

also GZY found out YWS is an assassin before GSJ LMAO. I'm glad he wisened up and made the decision to spy on her and the elder meeting. Now the dramatic reveal is done and we'll get to experience the consequences.
