I was very wrong about GSJ these last 2 episodes made me like him and understand him more. He will acknowledge GZY when he proves himself after the trials . he actually said that for him he is winning whether GZY loses or wins. shows that he puts Gong family above personal considerations despite the childish bickering on both sides.

GZY has my undying love. Such a sweetheart. that whole scene with the antidote between him and YWS 🥹🥹🥹🥹
He is slowly becoming the great SW everyone seems to want him to be. and the photogenic memory thing is confirmed.
romance wise though, I still can't root for the couple to end up together. I wish for YWS to be free. like she said be a cat wondering aimlessly in the streets instead of a dog safely in a house under a master. my ideal ending would ve that she would go live her life and GZY becomes a great leader.

I'm saying trusting your mother with your life as you put it is completely natural even if she is was an outsider at sone point. I imagine all brides were outsiders at some point. ML can be criticized for his fast trust in FL but it's weird to come for his defense of his foster mother.

Lady wuji literally raised him like his son for decades , How is it weird that zy is trusting her.
What's questionable is both MLs buying FLs stories/lies when they just met them and the killings started as soon as they joined the family.

I don't think his character is bad written. I think people who say that are used to an OP ML. Instead what we got here is a flawed ML. and a human one. Not the strongest nor the sharpest، but resilient and intelligent enough. his flaws are many but his strength is being kind hearted, compassionate and sociable to draw people towards him. it would explain jin fan and the others devotion. imo he is the embodiment of a charismatic leader. and I am rooting for his journey all the way . wanna see him succeed in becoming the best SW.
