The actor for Scorpion King was amazing but I was hoping to see more of Ah Xing and Cao Wei Ning's reincarnation story instead. I'm so sad with their ending....but I'm so glad that the drama did a way better job at showing Ah Xing's devastation than the novel.

3 episodes on US IQIYI now. It's under the title "The Detectives' Adventures."

It was a headache to the end. Haha you didn't miss anything. This drama and Winner is Love are the two that I wasted my life on.

If you're looking for a drama with every storyline possible then this is the drama for you. For me, it was a train wreck. The kid actors were great but once they grew up, everything just went downhill. The only thing that kept me watching was Song Ming Lei and Yuan Fei Qing's bromance.

That was why I dropped it for the animation. The flashback was just way too long. People said that it gets better after ep 20 but I didn't want to waste more time on it.

I could just assumed too that you gave high rating because of the actors and not the drama. So if you think my review is not genuine then I could say the same about yours.

I actually watched the donghua after The Utamed because I didn't like it but wanted to understand all the hype. So please, don't just assumed that my recommendation is not genuine. Thank you.

I dropped The Utamed after ep 15. I highly recommend watching the animation version instead. It is way better than the drama in my opinion. Also, it's straight to the point and doesn't drag.

Love WOH and watched it so may times now. Yes, it's not the same as The Utamed. Can't understand why people compared them. The only similarity is that they are BL and Chinese costumes dramas.

Dropped the drama after ep 15. Couldn't continue but love the Donghua.

Chinese dramas are charged by episode and not the whole drama itself. 1 episode could be sold up to millions of dollars. Because of this, so many people started to produce long dramas just to make more money and not necessarily for the storyline. Even people who didn't really care about the drama industry started to make dramas. This resulted in a lot of crappy dramas. The law was passed so that the drama industry will have better quality dramas.

China passed a law to limits the amount of episodes on dramas to 40. So many dramas now cut their episodes to no more than 59. Some were still able to broadcast the whole drama (like The Long Ballad) and some had to cut their dramas into two season (Like Qing Dynasty and now No Boundary). Eventually, any dramas more than 40 episodes will have 2 seasons.

I think it might just be a bit more than Word of Honor but probably not a lot.

Even though Word of Honor had a low budget, they used it wisely. For Miss the Dragon, I really wish they spent a bit more on ML's white hair. Everything else, I don't mind.

Looks like a really low budget drama. The lighting and the make-up aren't the best and the white hair is horrible. Especially when it's down. However, the characters are quite enjoyable to watch. Especially QingQing the little bird. ML is quite innocent and I find that to be super cute. He's innocent but doing his best to be a good partner for FL. I really like that.

Looking forward to the rest of the episodes.

I didn't get his acting at first too until I realized how innocent his character is. Yes, agree that his acting is on point.

The Blessed Girl was good at first but then it also went downhill later on. I enjoyed her father's love story more. He was like the dumb FL who is admire by everyone.

Yes he is playing a FL character for sure. He was childish to me because he was constantly fighting with Duanmu Cui (especially at the beginning) unreasonably. I just don't like this type of man who thinks they are always right. In "The Blessed Girl" LingLong's dad played a FL character too but he was not as annoying as this.

I usually enjoy bickering between FL and ML but not with Zhan Yan and Duanmu Cui. The more he fights with her, the more unintelligent he looks to me. I don't ship them mostly due to his character.
