agree, part of the reason was definitely due to all the good reviews i heard about this "thriller" and the fact that suzy is playing the main character. this drama felt like wasted potential to me.
strictly speaking, i dropped this drama after 4 episodes because the pacing is EXTREMELY slow. i was watching it at 1.3x speed but still felt very slow :/ i continued to read episode summaries after that so i'm aware of the main events that happened up until the ending. i was left very bored and disappointed because i was expecting a more intense psychological thriller. plot wise, i think there were many many plotholes left unexplained! like how exactly did she assume the identity of hyunju just like that? it made no sense at all ... and the ending was meh imo. overall i felt like i wasted my time unfortunately
Which version is better? Original or extended version? And why?
extended version. the original is not really the original. coupang play edited the series without the director's consent. the extended version of 8 eps is what the director intended for. the plot makes more sense and well put together as compared to the 6 ep version. there's also scenes that were not included in the 6 eps.
i never understood people who get mad or disappointed over an ending of a historical drama/film based of real events. like okay go and rewrite history then?
TELL ME WHY SHE HAD TO KILL HER GRANDMA like I know we don’t know that for sure but come on like why did they…
why do people assume the killer to be whoever whose hands are covered in blood? like obviously it's not her .... she most likely tried to prop up her grandaunt
this is actually horrible, i dropped it after 15 mins. matsuda is a really good actor but i seriously wondered why he picked this drama. also for taemin, i love him as the king of kpop but ah... he should just stick with singing. the chuunibyou-ish acting really isnt cutting it. and the cinematography oh my god........ i will just stop here 💀
hi, what do u mean the bad guys got away? if i'm not wrong, werent they caught?
ahh i see ... i dont think it would be really possible though considering how the main theme is to uphold justice. and also i think they wanted to follow the original real life case - the Huang Hongfa case
I'm disappointed by the reaction of Chang Zheng after learning the truth - that's not the Chang Zheng we've been…
hopefully you realised that it was all a plan to lower the Zhao family's guard down ... it's exactly as you said, knowing his character, he would never give up.
ehh i thought this one was decent but not mindblowingly good or anything the actors definitely did a great job though! i just wished the english lines were a little bit more natural ...
