very beautiful drama! the plot somewhat reminds me of A Silent Voice, i teared up quite a bit towards the end
also can we talk about the entire OST?! it's really so freaking calming I saved it to my Spotify the moment I heard it. it's like as if Makoto Shinkai's films were turned into music, super relaxing and comforting.

very predictable like what others have said but i love to watch makjangs so i watched till the end

i believe this is an evident plot hole. in the manga, she managed to survive after the king of spades game. she didnt participate in the last game with queen of hearts only because she lost in rock paper scissors when her friends were deciding who to go for the last game.

the mastermind is joker. theres a part in the manga where arisu talks to joker and it's hinted that joker is the intermediary that brings souls when they pass away. joker decided to start the games in Borderland to give chance to those that wants to live cuz there were too many deaths.

i think this is one of the few dramas that adapted the original source material very well, despite time constraints (8 eps). great watch!

coming from a manga reader: the king of spades (isao) was a mercenary and in his death scene in the drama, he thinks about his mercenary friend (apache) who died in the battlefield. isao had PTSD cuz of this. him and aguni didnt know each other before, but the way isao died (shot by aguni) is very similar to how apache died (shot by isao).

the borderland is a border between life and death. if they die in the borderland, they die in real life (like karube and chota). if they manage to stay alive, they can continue living in real life. those who chose to stay in the borderland to become game masters will likely be in a coma irl. hope that explains it ^^

actually a very underrated show! the ending was well done and satisfying too! not sure why this show is not getting the recognition it deserves.

definitely a masterpiece! i feel like it's been a long time since i watched a sageuk with such a great storyline and ending.

it's just the naming. the original series continued with part 3 and 4 being under season 2, while part 1 and 2 was under season 1.

i'm so glad the director of the mint threw away the 3 million won in the end LOL he doesn't deserve a single cent!! also, i really like the Berlin and Seoul pairing and i'm glad she stayed for him

amazing series!! every episode was so intense and my heart was beating like crazy while praying that the robbers would make it out to the end. part 2 was more thrilling than part 1 and the ending was so satisfying! begging for a season 2 please!!

the last scene was so cute it got me smiling from ear to ear. just get married already!

i simply stumbled upon this film. all i can say is it's kinda an art film, mostly very plain and the scenes barely flow at all. watch 10 mins of the movie and you'll know what i mean. i reckon most people will feel bored watching this for 2h straight.
