that was the whole point tho, he was given all these chances to realise all the feelings and emotions he had lost, he was determined to die but as he lived all those lives he realized how everyone else lived and how the ppl around him were affected, for me his change from "cunning" to "nice" was actually very constant and nicely portrayed.

The show was amazing, but the whole point of the show went downhill when he was given his life back, the main thing is that when you die you cant come back, regardless of what you do, and if you believe in the afterlife, you realize dying wasn't the best option and would want to go back, as death said that everyone she punished begged her to give them another chance, so if he had not gone back, all these loopholes about what would happen to people that died after him and the serial killers wouldn't be there, but anyway a good watch!
