But I think I know why they didn't use this OST... it's probably only reserved for moments of pure love (the scenes of TTJ's mother/father and TTJ/LSS demon/goddess dance scene) :(
That is why I feel more sympathy towards TTJ's character. I was even thinking at one point that those hurtful…
When he said what she feels is not even a fraction of the pain he's in, I wouldn't be surprised if he meant the heartbreak from her words/actions over the physical pain he was in. Not to mention this pain is completely new to him too with his newly formed love threads. Yikes.
As to why she said that... the only thing I could come up with is that she probably said that to convince herself so she could finish the deed without wavering. But it's still so so cruel to say it out loud for him to hear it.
Both LYX and BL really brought their A game in these two episodes, especially episode 26. I could feel the absolute despair LSS felt when the scale repelled the nails and ruined her life mission.
I have a question though, why did LSS tell TTJ that "I have never loved you"? If she thought he was going to die, why would she so mercilessly say something like that to him before his last breath? I get she felt horrified by what she assumed he has done, but it just seems particularly cruel for no reason, especially when she knows his whole past on top of learning about how awful of a lie it is during the dream arc.
Sorry guys.. but I feel like there was something going on between TTJ and Xiao Lin lmao. Like what is up with that love letter and gift to someone who tried to imprison and nearly killed you.
Lowkey wanted TTJ to just eat that porridge completely trusting YXW and dying from it because like,, YXW I love you baby girl but you need to learn the hard lesson that you can't save everybody.
The ost that comes out during their demon king & goddess dancing ritual goes so hard I can't stop rewatching it. Does anybody know what the song is called?
The romantic bit at the end of Ep 12 was great but everything before that (the sudden violence? the bucket list?) is a no from me, I could hardly call that stuff romance. Thankfully it lasted only 1.5 episodes.
