why does the chinese government expect an actor to teach people about respecting history? shouldn't that be the government's fault? ZZH grew up in this so called education system. shouldn't the government and the people self-reflect on it's own short-comings in teaching history and respect. you know how to tell the casting director and the costume designer is shit? we are are gonna cast this man even though he just has an average length neck and knowing he's gonna be wearing this neck thing the whole time. the costume designer looked at this average length-ed neck and is like, we're gonna make this neck cover thing as thick as we can so you look like you have no neck. have some imagination, i know the donghua is good, but you can have some creative liberties. there's a saying in chinese, if you dont have diamond cutter, don't mend porcelain-ware.

just so everybody knows, a rehearsal shoot done on location, with light, sound, and a whole crew, costs a fortune for a day. I don't know why you would rehearse shoot on location instead of on a sound stage.
