Great cinematography and atmosphere, great acting by the 2 female leads, loved it. Definitely not for everyone, much more artistic than your average drama. Slow pace but loved every bit. Kim Tae Hee looks stunning at 43, no wonder she is considered a standard for beauty in Korea. Im Ji Yeon is already a great actress, I think she will have a very successful career.
You pretty much agreed with me for the most partπ lots of people writing here are true fans and a very small minority. When you will see this same attitude with most of your friends who have netflix then you can say I have greatly exaggerated. Let's face it, we are the outliers here π I am glad this kind of people exist though. Respect π
I guess you are not very representative of their audience π Caring about subtleties of the Korean language - you definitely stand out π. I congratulate you for that. Still, fvkk netflix
The problem is both Netflix and their audience don't care. The easier the better, less thinking is preferred π . Netflix is slowly but surely altering the very spirit of k-drama and not just by translations
Their translations are tailored for their audience, western people are not known for their depth, everything simplified and the more brain-dead the better
This was great, superb acting from Im Ji Yeon. I don't see the point of the ending if they're not planning to make a 2nd season. Although honestly 1 season would have been enough, 12 episodes, no filler.
dont watch it then...also u wont understand if u havent watched season 1...n if u have watched season 1 u will…
I will watch whatever I feel like watching. I guess I am too stupid to understand this masterpiece if I haven't watched season 1. Also who can match the Oscar-performance of Kim Ji Won? No one I bet
Se Kyeongπ₯° will nail this, sageuk are her strength when it comes to acting, also she looks amazing in hanbeok. Her "Joseon" Korean is also top-notch. I don't like whom they chose as partner for her, age difference again (like in Black knight). Can't wait for this π
We could say the same about America's cinema. For example, superhero movies. There have been 224 superhero genre…
Hollywood is horrible, not watching anymore, totally brain-dead , thats's not the point :-) Lack of ideas seem to be the norm, whether Korean or American cinema. I still watch quite a bit of Korean stuff, just annoyed by this back-to-Joseon/Goryeo themes
