Great start with stupid ending!!After participating in the beginning he knew many died. The main character voluntarily…
AGREEED! His character is hypocritical and lack of sense of reality... like what was he doing for a year??? He literally went back into the games knowing that he would eventually have to kill people or get killed SMH... I wished they deleted the whole 2nd episode, it has made his character shittier and the whole episode was so draggy as well!
Okay is it just me or do the Netflix dramas get more hype because they are watched by many more people? This is…
The people overhyping this drama are kdrama newbies and this is probably their first korean series or Asian series in general... There are so many other Asian series are way better
I wanted to see more strategically thought out ways to win the game but alas the games were really lame and anti-climatic. Ep2 is so skippable and slow, and the option for them to return to the game just ruined the whole main character for me. I wished they would've deleted the scenes where they were kicked out and have to make a decision to return to the game as well. The "goody-two-shoes" personality of the main character only works if he never gets kicked out, because there are many good people in the world and they didn't know what to expect by signing up to join the game. But because he voluntarily went back into the game knowing people would die or he would have to eventually kill people in order to win the game, his character went from a good and innocent one to a dumb and someone with a lack of sense of reality.... After he wins, he doesn't even spend the money he won because he feels guilty about it, but you and everyone that went back to the game literally knew they were gonna either die or kill others eventually... I feel bad for the childhood friend... he trusted the MC to help his mom financially and yet he did nothing for a whole year because he was guilty..? Like you signed up for the game voluntarily boii.... A lot of new drama viewers are hyping the drama because of its genre, but as an avid drama viewer, especially after watching Alice in Borderland, this drama lacks in what it could be in it's fullest potential. People would probably like the sentimental aspect of the drama, but some of the characters were soo annoying and the others their deaths were just so pathetic because they couldn't even do anything about their deaths to the point where I didn't even care about their whole sob story anymore. The character that I liked was the childhood friend and the policeman but alas looked what happened to them.
Agreed, I wish they would've just deleted the 2nd episode, it was slow and repetitive. I wished they would've deleted the scenes where they were kicked out and have to make a decision to return to the game as well. But because he voluntarily went back into the game knowing people would die or he would have to eventually kill people in order to win the game, his character went from a good and innocent one to a dumb and hypocritical one. He believes people can win the game even though knowing the fact that people must die for them to proceed... he just lacks a sense of reality... I see what you meant with GY and LBH. Yup I hated the MC and that female player who was constantly shouting it was so annoying I wanted her to die fast just so my ears would be at peace lmao. I do love DP as well its my second fav and wish it was slightly longer with some more stories.

I don't mind them bringing in high paid actors because I think the survival game show genre is pretty unique for SK (besides Liar Game but there isnt death involved), so it seems like a really good project. But as someone who has watched Alice in Borderland, this doesn't even come close to how the genre could potentially be. SK dramas are amazing at are at the sentimental aspect to let viewers get emotional... However I don't think they should wholly emphasize on that aspect... I felt so bored during episode 2 and hearing some of the sappy stories because I was really excited to see what games were coming next... Move to Heaven will always be my number #1 sentimental drama T_T
I don't agree that the MC has no sense of reality. He just has a different type of character than what you find…
Agreed, that was why he lacked sense of reality for me... and honestly, he got to the end by pure luck (except the second game) and very good teammates. Which is why I perceive his character as strategically weak and it was a turnoff for me because I guess I had above expectations with how the MC of a survival game show is supposed to be and his character was the opposite of what I expected.

I felt he doesn't have a sense of reality because the participants were given a choice to come back into the game. He voluntarily went back into the game knowing people would die and he would eventually have to kill people to win the money... If they removed the whole segment about them leaving the game, I would've agreed with your statement because I know there are always good people in the world out there and that they didn't know what they were signing up for. But because he voluntarily went back knowing people would die and he would eventually need to kill people to win... he might as well not go back if he wanted to be a goody-two shoes.
