I think compared to some other Republican dramas, it's a relatively happy ending, the Yuan brothers and FL survived plus Xiao Dao (in a lot of shows. Xiao Dao would be a goner). Although I wondered about who the real HQ's parents were.
Also glad that a lot of NBIS characters, the policemen Tang ( I didn't know his position in English) and Xiao Huang, plus secretary Wu survived. In some shows, there would be blood baths and barely anyone survived.
