I expect a spin off show about Youdu setting up an Ancient China match making agency. Mu De Qing helps because he seems to be very empathic and the poor guy needs a break from the palace.

I also feel sorry for Mu De Qing, I noticed him stressing out and almost fell. Poor guy never got a break because he was at the Emperor's side all the time and had to second guess what the Emperor wanted. He always looked out at everyone's well being.

At the amount of getting stabbed and poisoned, I am actually surprised that FJM still lives for now. Not that I want him to die. I purposefully don't watch the trailers as they're misleading but I read he started to vomit blood in 38.

Ah yes, I thought its ending Fo Ye and friends died but then I realized that was the prequel of Lost Tomb series so they didn't die in the war. Actually I started watching c-drama from last November because of Mystic Nine. Before that, I only found shows for my mom but I didn't watch them myself. Even until now I only watch certain shows and of course William's projects :)

My favourites are the first two you mentioned. I plan to watch Adoring. I actually haven't watched all his projects because I read people complained it has sad endings. Oh his character in MN is the best, who doesn't like Fo Ye. He smiles more in MN as compared to in NPE.
In MN, hr looks cool but he is still a warm person. Looking forward to MN season 2.

If you like WC and want to watch costume drama, I recommend "Love Lost in Time", it has happy ending. Otherwise for his other dramas I like "Mystic Nine" and "Age of Legends"

I don't watch many c-dramas compared to others but yeah, a lot of costume dramas or c-dramas in general has sad endings. I watched this because of William Chan but somehow couldn't stop it despite the pain. Have you watched "Joy of Life"? It has cliffhanger ending but they're going to film season 2 and 3. It has so much humour and the characters are three dimensional.
