i know what i say won't change how others feel about this show and atp i really don't intend on doing that cause it'll lead to further arguing that...won't lead us anywhere. so, just want to say that to me this show really touched me and reminded me a lot of my teen years, i've struggled a lot being closeted and seeing heesu and seungwon go through emotions i very much felt, hit home. i really want to say i looove ahn jiho's acting and the fact he did this when he was around 18 shows how amazing he is and will be in the industry later.
i'm probably a minority here, but it was a drag. underwhelming and poor writing in every sense of the way. i can't lie and say there weren't moments that i enjoyed, but every timeline change just felt so off and frankly, bad executed i think. one of my biggest criticisms has to be the use of disability here. i know this is a romcom and it wasn't gonna focus even more on sol's struggles during her years prior sunjae's accident, but i just felt like talking about that might have given her more depth as a character because the more she chased after sunjae to protect him, the more i forgot why she was doing so in the first place, which is a shame because i think the opening scene in the first episode left a rather good impression on me. i know she's happy that her accident never happened too, and i get it, but i did find it poor of them to end the show with her being abled as like a "all is well and perfect" in this world lol, but again romcom with timetravel? i shouldn't expect much. also, i know this is somewhat a big part of the plot, but the whole murder side story was... well something i didn't enjoy either lol. i think there was a lot of potential and i do think hyeyoon and wooseok have a good teamwork here, but ultimately i find this show cute, yet forgettable in the long run. i know i shouldn't expect kdramas to be written like how i want them to, but just my feelings, i totally understand why people loved this show.
