In my opinion this is because initially drama was your typical B grade idol cdrama produced by YuZheng to make the B-list talents managed by his company work, like for example "delicacies and destiny" which was sold directly to Disney + if I am not wrong. Thus I think in YuZheng mind such dramas are not destined to be aired "globally" since those are not considered "serious works" plus they lack good sponsorship or good financial backers. Therefore, from my understanding, mr Yu sell them directly to those streaming application for airing.
