Sure reason why he had to close off cause so far he does not have as much power as we thought he had and was trapped. Look at the way he desperately told RaEl to be on his side so he can succeed in whatever he want to do against that family. Show even more he had 0 support and is trapped. CEO is a victim as well in what is happening since his childhood and has been used since then by everyone RaEl included. I don't think he knows what they did to RaEl family before. Guy was literally forced to marry that witch by both families that can kill anyone close to him. People just got prejudice against him cause he doesn't have the typical oppa's look.

The actor fits the role, mature, calm, deep down not a bad person but is trapped in his environment surrounded by shitty people that keep using him and playing with his mind Ra El included. Man is the son of a maid who was mistreated and murdered. So he was left alone with no support what do you think he can do with zero power ? And you wonder why he is closed off. It is not his fault about what happened to Ra El still she is using him like everyone else while endangering the life of the bodyguard he hired to protect her cause he sincerely think she is good to him. Bleh cut him some slack.

The only issue I put to the drama is the character of Kang yoon, is extremely boring. It should be more charismatic.

I think this episode highlights the difference in behaviour between ZPE and GQF. ZPE is more upfront about things compared to GQF. If it wasn't for ZPE confronting him I don't think their relationship would have progressed. I feel if ZPE was in GQF shoes she would have been more inclined in telling him what's going on or would have at least confide in SSN and search for advices. GQF keeps things more to himself cause of the environment he grew up in. I kinda understand him since he feels bad and ashamed about what happened to ZPE's life and he is confused about the people he thought he could trust.
