I will never understand why this girl, that got the whole package, like a 80's/90's HK fandan, is so criminally underrated in China, stuck in 2nd fiddle roles while myriads of roles are wasted on cheesy, less skilled actresses... or is her agency the definition of incompetency ? Xuan Lu is, imo, one of the prettiest chinese actresses around with a lot of charms. Nothing about her screams plain-girl-next-door with that nice dimpled smile of hers. She is a good dancer and charismatic (look at her role in that drama with Li Gen Xin) and more importantly she CAN ACT ! This girl here would have been the perfect cast opposite Zhang Ruo Yun in Sword Snow Stride. I just don't get cdramas PDs...
