Zheng Ye Cheng never failed to amaze me, the acting is on point and the chemistry is not forced. I love the character development and the storyline. I felt that there is no dull moment on my end and I am hoping for you as well. The OST is really good, it matches the story and the scenes. I really like how they phrase the ending and an alternate ending. It was a long process however it is really worth it. Watch it and I can guarantee that if you are into this genre you will definitely enjoy it.Was this review helpful to you?

Zhou Qi Xing’s Smile and Subtle Charm Make This Series Unforgettable
I really enjoyed this series! What stood out to me most was how Zhou Qi Xing silently protects Xu Yuan — it’s subtle yet deeply touching. The story itself isn’t entirely new, but the pacing never felt rushed, and the chemistry between the two leads elevated the whole show to the top of my list.Zhou Qi Xing’s smile is simply captivating, and it adds so much charm to every scene he’s in. I also love how Xu Yuan’s dad and brother react to her bold actions — their constant panic made for some hilarious moments. The butler was another favorite of mine; his proactive behavior and loyalty made him such a scene-stealer. Honestly, aside from Zhou Qi Xing, the butler is the character I rooted for the most!
And let’s not forget the bestie — always there to support Xu Yuan, even if not everyone talks about her. The dynamic between all these side characters made the series even more fun.
Overall, this drama had me giggling the entire time while still giving me those heart-fluttering moments. Definitely a must-watch!

Nie Huai Sang’s Pain, My Closure
This felt like a masterpiece — the closure I truly needed. After finally seeing everything unfold, I now understand why Nie Huai Sang had to go to such extremes. Honestly, before this, I didn’t fully grasp the depth of his choices, but now it all makes sense. Everything came full circle. It made me think, I wish I had a brother like him. The Nie brothers’ story has always been tragic, but seeing it from Huai’s side broke me even more. I can’t even imagine carrying that kind of pain, standing in his shoes.
All I want is for Huai to find the happiness he deserves after everything he went through. He really earned it.

MASTERPIECE
I started watching this last March and stopped after 1 ep since I kinda felt that it was a genre that is not my cup of tea however i tried reading it offline and was amazing. The book and the series are 2 different things, there are similar however you can go along stand alone. I watched it without knowing the main leads and such and just watched it purely for the storyline. I really enjoyed it, the story, the character development and soundtrack, and the effects. This has made my summer amazing and unforgettable. Was this review helpful to you?
