Yeah, thats the only thai BL has seen some drop. Most of other highest rated thai BLs arent affected at all.

I think from thai BLs, only I feel you linger in the air has been devalued, i really wonder why, whereas almost 99% rest of thai BLs are stable (higher rated ones).
Whereas top rated BLs from all other countries has been massively downvoted.

No, Our Youth has been downvoted just recently, imean suddenly today its ratings fell from 8.9 to 8.5, because even Love for Love Sake saw the same drop from 8.7 to 8.4, it has nothing to do with actors controversy, because after controversy happened ratings were still stable till yesterday.

Even my priority for BLs is also non Thai ones, whether its Korean, Japanese or Taiwanese. The good thing about their BLs is that the actors at least know how to act without making it cringe. Even if the script isnt perfect, they still try to make it feel natural. Unlike Thai BLs, where everything often feels unrealistic and it seems like everyone is gay, which comes across as very unnatural to me.

But yeah, there are some good Thai BLs too. I have heard a lot about Sunset drama,, its been on my watchlist for a while but i havent watched it yet. My favorite Thai BL, though, is GEL Boys. That drama feels very realistic without being cringe, it actually portrays GenZ relationships in the most natural way. I think its from the same scriptwriter-director as Sunset.

As for JBLs, my favorites are I Hear the Sunspot and Our Youth.
In KBL, they have delivered plenty of great BLs like Semantic Error, Blueming, To My Star, The Eighth Sense Our Dating Sim and so on.
From Taiwan, The Only One and Unknown are my top picks.

People are only noticing it now because Revenged Love has become hugely popular but Thai BL fans have been manipulating ratings of non Thai BLs for years. Just look at shows like Semantic Error, The Eighth Sense, The Only One, Unknown and Love in the Big City, all rated below 8.5 on MDL despite receiving significantly higher ratings on IMDb. Normally, MDL scores are 0.5-0.6 higher than IMDb but that pattern doesnt apply to many Korean, Japanese or Taiwanese BLs because Thai BL fans systematically downvote them on MDL.

This manipulation has been happening for a long time but its only gaining attention now because Revenged Love is so popular. Now when they suddenly dragged its rating down from 9.0 to 8.6, it finally exposed how toxic and petty some of these fans are. If that hadnt happened, most people would have continued ignoring the issue.

Jack & Joker doesnt even deserve 8.0 or 8.5, imean that was one of most illogical action dramas i have ever watched.

Yeah just toss in some NC scenes with pretty faces (acting skills optional) and the fujoshis will gobble it up like its gourmet.

Not all BL fans support and love BLs from every country. There is a significant group of Thai BL fans who prefer only the type of content produced in Thailand. Thai BLs also encourage a strong shipping culture, which has helped build a large and loyal fanbase. So some of these fans tend to downvote BLs from other countries when they gain popularity, simply to keep Thai BLs at the top. This behavior has been ongoing for quite some time.

I wouldnt care what kind of ratings those trashy BLs get but mass downvoting BLs from other industries just to keep your favorites on top of the MDL charts is downright pathetic. If BLs from another industry has a good storyline and earns high ratings, why try to bring it down just to prop up your own?? That kind of behavior is truly insufferable.

Just go and check the ratings of Thai BLs compared to top KBLs like Love for Love’s Sake, Our Youth, etc.

Our Youth was ranked No. 1 with an 8.9 rating, but now it has suddenly dropped to 8.5. Love for Love’s Sake was at 8.7 and has now dropped to 8.4. Meanwhile, if you look at top rated Thai BLs, Jack and Joker is still holding an 8.8, Top Form is still there with 8.7 etc. So isnt it pretty clear who is behind this?

And this isnt the first time Thai BL fans have done this. I have seen them doing the same thing for a long time, they did it with Semantic Error, The Eighth Sense, and recently with Secret Relationship as well. They are incredibly insufferable people who just want their trashy Thai BLs to stay on top.

Other people, like straight drama watchers, dont really care about BL ratings, only BL fans do.

Im pretty sure thai BL fans are mass downvoting this drama. They have done the same with KBLs too, regardless of how good the show is Semantic Error, Blueming, To My Star, The Eighth Sense, Love for Love's Sake and many others faced the same treatment. Even a drama like Love in the Big City wasnt spared. They do it just to keep their trashy BLs at the top of the MDL charts. Truly insufferable behavior.


Edit: To prove my point, just go and check the ratings of top KBLs/JBLs compared to top Thai BLs.

Until yesterday, Love for Love’s Sake was rated 8.7, now it’s 8.4. Our Youth was 8.9 and now it has dropped to 8.5.

Meanwhile, the top Thai BLs remain unaffected, Jack & Joker is still at 8.8, Top Form and Peaceful Property are holding strong at 8.7, Reset is still going strong with 8.6 and so is Perfect 10 Liners, also at 8.6.

So just guess who might be behind this mass downvoting of BLs from other industries.

Alright, if we go by that definition then i would still call this one of the most illogical and painfully bad crime comedy action dramas i have ever seen. Whether its classified as noir or not doesnt change how absurd and poorly executed it felt to me.

It screams noir crime drama from every angle. Sure they threw in some comedy, but that flopped hard. I dont care what they claim to promote, this is clearly a noir, whether they admit it or not.

This has to be one of the most illogical noir crime dramas i have ever come across. The sheer amount of plot armor handed to both the ML and the villain is absurd, it borders on parody. Honestly i cant stand either of them. There isnt a single character to root for.

The action sequences are decent but is that really enough to carry a noir drama?? The plot, the execution, everything feels like a trainwreck. The number of times the villain escapes death or capture thanks to convenient writing is maddening. If there were even a shred of logic, he would have been caught or killed by episode 8 or 10. Instead, its just a repetitive drag.

As for the ML, he is the definition of frustrating. In every episode, he gets beaten to a pulp, lands in the hospital and somehow returns almost immediately, only to get beaten again. He is not just unlucky, he is unbelievably stupid.

Atp i cant even drop this shit. Im just fast forwarding through it at lightning speed to get it over with.

Revenged Love is definitely my current favorite BL. Even that drama gave a bad impression initially after the first two episodes, but it drastically improved with episodes 3 and 4. As for this one, i dropped it after watching three episodes because i have no hopes for it. At least in Revenged Love, the acting was good even though i didnt like the first two episodes but here, i can't even say the same about the acting. So there is no point in continuing it.

I have already dropped this. That original comment was just my reaction to whatever i saw in the first three episodes. I later decided to drop it because I dont have the patience to go through another Pit Babe, type experience again.
