They changed lots of stuff from the novel but in the novel, from the start ml is not a human but like a fallen god/warrior who became a monster roaming on earth, waiting for fl for 16 years due to a promise, so he will still remain in his own form. It's also a happy ending! They will have 2 kids together and are happily married.
i only watched the first ep and it's kinda boring for me,, will the other episodes be more interesting?
it gets better when the villain gets into the show! The first episode is more of like an intro to the new world and the settings. It also gets funnier later on and pacing will be faster! The only thing is that they cut off the drama at like odd timings hahaha
I'm not into werewolves but like CZY. Is this cheesy with slapstick humor or is it watchable?
Adding on to the comment above, you can try to watch the trailers first, it kind of includes parts of the comedic elements inside! I find the comedic elements very laughable and interesting. Best to watch when you’re having a meal!

One might expect the princess to be a damsel in distress and be clumsy, whatever you name, but no ❌ She is in fact independent, brave and her modernised mindset and skill sets are put to good use! What a great princess!
Same goes to the beast, on first look you’ll expect a fierce, violent and demanding character but no ❌ He is very detailed and gentle. He knows what he is doing right or wrong and tries to make up for it! What a great king!
I really liked that all the characters seemed younger or older according to the timeline! Like how did they do that! Especially the FL, I thought she would not get even younger but she looked even younger with each episode!
One thing to take note is that in princess qipa’s original DaXia kingdom, the spoken language is modern Chinese while in the beast tribe, it is in historical Chinese!
