Hmmm I would say if you don’t really like the whole concept even with the first few episodes you can drop it.
If it’s the pacing issue you can watch it at 1.5x or 2x speed.
If you want you can skip straight to the ending but you’ll more or less be very puzzled as to what happened.

They released the trailer 2.0, snippets of the ost lineup (it seems solid! Especially the duet) and an mv for xuanyi’s ost (which really shows us where we’re going with the plot hahaha)

Yeahh this drama is mainly on their daughter’s story with the beast tribe which follows the book. Kind of like a next generation story hahaha

There will still be some cameo by the dad (qi sheng) and the green dude but more emphasis will still be on FL and ML!

The relation is Qipa, the female lead, is the daughter of zhang Peng Peng and qi Sheng.
You would feel the similarities in terms of personality and comedic elements but the storyline won’t be the same but focuses on their daughter now.

Just a heads up, durian was mentioned a lot in the first one (fl mum likes it) so there will also be mentions of durians here as well (and fl most probably inherited it hahaha)
