Loved him in Ugly Alert (but hated his character). For his other dramas, he plays a 2nd ML who doesn't get the girl or as the antagonist. Idk if he chooses these roles on purpose, but he does well as them.
Just started this but I like how simple things are so far. I spedrun 50 episodes in an hour and half. Gotta say not bad, IDK but it seems pretty tame for a daily drama.
I actually took my time to watch this, and glad I slowed down instead of just speedrunning the episodes..
Overall a great story about sports with well written characters, that felt cohesive to the story.
For the slight romance it had, honestly it was well delivered. Logically nobody just randomly flipped a switch and fell in love. There was a reasoning as to how feelings developed and it made sense as to who fell first, and how their relationship played out, even over a lengthy period of time.
Also was refreshing to see that with the romance they had in mind, we did not see any character turning into jerks due to jealousy, and cause issues due to immaturity .
Pleasant surprise and great palate cleanser! You gotta power through the 1st episode though, was a little rough. Overall wasn't too heavy and the 30mins per episode made it super easy to watch!
About to start this but this ML actors age though... Either this guy is friends with the director or the director…
Uhhh me hating on the appearance of the ML actor, but now me questioning why didn't they keep his hairstyle when he was a chef... literally 10x better than what he has now.
BUT at least his age shows in his acting, as he has good understanding on his character
About to start this but this ML actors age though... Either this guy is friends with the director or the director wanted an average looking guy (like everyday street appearance not entertainment average quality) as the ML. Also doesn't help from the photos I've seen, his haircut isn't doing him any favors. Gonna do my best to ignore his appearance, as I attempt to binge as I'm only here for the FL...
This is based on Novel/ Manhua called Rebirth of the Urban Immortal Cultivator, they just change the names
wow, didn't realise it was this one! I only read the manhua and stopped 2 year ago, b/c like all these types, the story gets repetitive with the MC always moving to a higher plane, and repetitely getting looked down upon and then enventually faceslapping..
I'm a sucker for the cultivators return to urban setting genre for light novels, but my expectations are low since i know there is gonna be alot of face slapping which is always cringy but its gonna be multiplied in a live action adaption.. 😫 Hope this won't be too bad..
