Well this was ...... disappointing. And I'm not even talking about the non consensual sex or the child abuse or the PTSD that will never be treated clinically and will probably be brushed over, no, I've lowered my bar so much honestly this doesn't begin to explain how low my bar is right now, I'm talking about the shitty editing and scene jumping, the awkward camera angles, the shittiest character introduction to ever exist and the inability to set the mood/background story/situation for us, the acting albeit weak, could definitely improve in the future so I can't say much about the acting as of now, I will say tho, James is fun to watch his facial expressions are....interesting. I feel like this is going to be another one of my hate watchs but I'll still give it another episode or two, surely it won't be as bad as Check out right?..... right?

To answer your first question, no, you don't have to since each installment serves as a stand alone for the most part, you might see some cameos from characters from the previous HIStorys but it doesn't go much further than that. For your second question, I say give it an episode or two and decide for yourself, I personally didn't like this installment, which is unfortunate because I really like this franchise, but yeah, if you're interested in it give it a try, who knows, you might like it more than I did.

I'm disturbed on so many levels I don't even know where to begin. I feel like I shouldn't have watched that trailer I regret ever seeing it on my feed, these are literal children, it feels highly inappropriate for me to watch this, it feels like the Netflix movie Cuties all over. These kids aren't even old enough to watch their own series, what was the director/production team/company casting them thinking?! I wouldn't have minded it as much if it was a bunch of adults acting as middle/high school students, sure it would've looked a bit awkward and you could probably easily tell they weren't teenagers, but I would at least be assured these are adults acting out such scenes. The company really said we're making sure the peds' are being thoroughly fed and entertained, absolutely disgusting.

Unforgotten night was still somehow entertaining despite it trying not to be, honestly if this was low budget I would've cut it some slack but this one obviously has big stacks spent on it so why aren't they putting any effort into this circus show of a script? Also, I'm sorry, but this series is trying too hard to be funny but ultimately failing so miserably and what's making this even more ridiculous is them promoting it as dark/mature when all I'm seeing is a spoiled brat, two dOrKy incompetent bodyguards and a gega chad trying their best to keep us engaged with their side smirks and perfectly styled hair.

It's like each episode is an alternative reality/different version of the same characters, at this point alternative reality should be included in the tags because there's no way in hell these two are the same rape-y guys from episode 1, Idk what or why I'm watching atp but I'll give it a couple more episodes just to see where this script is going, honestly this is just comedy and not the good kind lol.

You can say that again, I literally have to physically restrain myself every time I see dramas throwing around the word ballet and give us close to nothing of actual representation, like the info you're looking for is a google search away, and it's not even the obvious lack of knowledge on the ballet part that frustrates me anymore cuz I've already been through that phase, it's the fact that they don't bother looking for actual dancers when casting the roles, they just throw a pair of pointe shoes on a random actor and call it a day completely disregarding the potential harm this could cause them. Oh trust me babe, as an ex-ballerina the ballet part had me digging my grave with my dead pointe shoes and laying down in it with my stretching bands, like they really put someone with less than a couple of months' experience in pointe shoes and actually had her dance with them, SHS really had a death wish. And don't get me started on the actual "ballet" in here because just seeing the way they turned the ballet community and their interactions into some sort of high school drama had me barking up the wall, I could honestly go on and on about the things that had me physically curling into myself but I'll just stop here because I refuse to acknowledge that part of my memories about this drama ever again lol.
