It's because people are so used to the cleanly waxed, smooth as a baby's butt, soft unblemished skinned actors in other shows/series they can't grasp the idea of a human having body hair 🙃

Comparing this to 50 shades of gray is like comparing regular odorous house ants (don't know what you guys usually call them) to mosquitoes, both are pesky insects but one is funnier and much more entertaining/harmless than the other. The trailer makes this look a lot more serious than it actually is, if you're going to watch it or already are watching it, I'd advise you to go in with your bar set somewhere quite low because this is about 1% cohesive plot, 3% out of nowhere characters, 2% chemistry, 10% obnoxious in-your-face product placement, 14% action/comedy equally distributed, 50% actors slouching/having bad posture and 20% of sloppy camerawork/hilarious editing. I had a blast with episode 10 tbh, hands down the most ridiculous out of all episodes, I literally bust a lung watching it, and a bit of a spoiler, but that threesome between the bodyguards was sooooo out of nowhere it took me a second to realize what was going on lol.

Honestly I'm just watching it for the laughs at this point, like it's one of those series that tries to be the next something but ends up being an intentional comedy show/skit. None of the actors stand out in here tbh and the chemistry is dead, 6 feet deep into the ground, gone too soon, heck it wasn't even there to begin with, and I'm not just talking about the MLs, and don't get me started on the KomBaiboon situation because no one is ready to have this conversation, either way, at least it's better than the absolutely disgraceful shitshow called Check out the series and I'm not remotely sorry for shaming this monstrosity of a series.

You're expecting too much from a series GMMTV is involved in producing love. They have this thing with pumping out illogical/incoherent plots with occasional exceptions here and there. I personally feel like this is one of those series where you have to turn off your brain and just let your humor bone take the wheel since this seems to be the only remotely functional thing in my body as of right now, besides, this is comedy gold, and definitely not because it's its main genre lol.

I have to say, despite it being a very cliche/eye roll inducing series with very questionably written characters and an even more questionable choice for cast, it's still a lot better than some of the BS I had to witness these last 2 years. Is it some KP/MoD level of dark/interesting? No. Is it cringy af? Yes. Is the chemistry lacking? Absolutely. Does it hint at that potential pairing (y'all know who I'm talking about) that has me side eyeing the plot? Sadly yes. Does everyone in the series (with the exception of Yoon and Ging) just happen to have horrible posture? Hard yes, BUT at the very least it's giving us something, the plot is somehow still there even if it was anticlimactic and stereotypical as F. Honestly I'd take this over Check out anytime any day of the week.

I see, that's probably a fault on my side then, I read about it somewhere and it somehow got lost in translation. If that's the case then it's quite sad seeing the company just stand on the sidelines being unable to do anything about the whole situation, and knowing that Build and JJ are shareholders in it makes it a lot more complicated then, I can see why these two can't really say anything about it, same goes for the actors and BOC, I just hope that they're safe and that these two [Yok and Poi] are held accountable for their actions. I really don't see the reason to bash you guys for liking what you like, it's your choices and your opinions, what right do I have to judge them and you for them? Honestly what I'm doing is just the bare minimum, it's heartbreaking having to see such simple act being treated like that when it's just the minimum of human decency, if you have anything to add to what everyone else said please feel free to do so, any criticism is welcomed, we can't learn to do better without the help and different points of view from others.

Not at all, I'm really glad people were willing to come forward and talk about their perspectives and reasonings, everyone has the right to enjoy whatever they want despite what everyone else says, I really love being exposed to people's different analyses and and likes and dislikes when making their judgments, I find it really fascinating how we can be so similar yet so different at the same time. I'm also really saddened by the fact that these people have nothing better to do other than go around attacking others for having preferences that don't necessarily agree with theirs, I hope you guys don't have to encounter such upsetting situations.

I apologize for the off wording, I'll edit in a moment but really I don't mind their expectations because as I said once before, we're all entitled to our opinions and we all look for different things when watching/reading something, I'm glad there are many people who are willing to point out the faults in my comment/perspective and I really appreciate it.

I see, I can understand your perspective a little better now and as I said before, my reaction is probably more influenced by the cultural differences, we all make our judgements off of different bases influenced by a multitude of factors so I guess it's a matter of opinions here, any criticism is welcome especially if it means correcting something I unknowingly did so I really appreciate your take on it.

No need to apologize, I'm partially at fault here, I should have worded it out better, and I really appreciate other people's perspectives and their criticism, I'm more than happy to be corrected when I'm wrong so please do if you see something not really right in my comment. I also agree with you on respecting each other's opinions, we all perceive things differently and we're all different one way or another.

I guess my wording of it comes off as trying to guilt others into thinking they're wrong for expecting it but really it's not, I just don't appreciate the demand for a sex scene when he is still so young both age and career wise, and as I said before, I am aware that it's his guardian's and his decision that should be taken into account, but people shouldn't push for it knowing how the industry works and how subjecting someone of his age to it could affect him.

I'm not judging anyone here, as I said before, I just hope people stop demanding that he be put in such situations, you're right, it is his parents/his decision that matters in the end, but just entertaining the idea of a teenager acting out a sex scene is just not very right for multiple reasons. I guess my stance is somewhat influenced by the difference in culture but I just can't find it in me to root for it.

Of course it's ultimately his decision to make, doesn't make it any better tho. I am taking into consideration the culture and their background, I do realize we have to take into consideration their age of consent and that we as viewers have no right to question him or his decision, yes the actor and his character are two separate beings, what I'm trying to say is both situations aren't really right, not because barcode isn't mature enough or he can't decide what's best for him, and certainly not because his age plays into anything related to his role, but because Barcode shouldn't be put through such scenes at such a young age and at the beginning of his career nonetheless, again, I'm not talking about consent here, I'm talking about a decision that shouldn't have been considered and I'm very glad they didn't go through with anything similar or related to it in the series.
