Hyereong, & lowkey Seolhee, have been the only ones that we've really seen have a problem with Boonok, no? Why would they like someone who steals from them & doesn't take calls for them? It's not right for them to look down upon her but Boonok isn't innocent as she also is prejudiced against the girls because they have a better situation than her. Obviously, they're not friends but the fact that she showed no remorse in working with spies who could kill them is a red flag for me.

Not everyone is going to like the same character, but you definitely see some people who have a bias against the main leads because they aren't the type of character that person wants them to be. It's kind of funny how hard they try to make the main leads look bad while justifying the flaws in their favorites. They disguise their hate as it being having an opinion too.
Bun ok really decided to become the very thing that destroyed her family? You can see the pain in ms. Pi's eyes…
Yeah, I understand that she was threatened at first but the fact that she still continued on even after the spies were caught & wanted to work with the ansp had me questioning that too. Some try to excuse her actions by saying because of her family circumstances she's the way she is, & I understand her upbringing/what she's experienced, but I find her actions unjustifiable as she's always had a choice in how to react.
As you mentioned, because she keeps getting targeted & put in the same situations since she's Sooho's weakness/the…
I'm not saying she's the most complex character but I do think that people are too busy comparing her to others so they think she's just a girl in love character.
Someone said they want Sooho to kiss Youngro the same amount of times that he's pointed a gun at her & I don't know whether I should laugh or cry π

Ok I have some serious thoughts regarding Youngro's character. I think it's about time they gave her some character…
As you mentioned, because she keeps getting targeted & put in the same situations since she's Sooho's weakness/the director's daughter, the impact of her character doesn't come off as strong compared to others. We've seen her have moments of taking action - like when she revealed her identity in hopes to save the hostages or taking the detonator away from Sooho - but I guess viewers want to see her act that way continuously.
Some of her actions haven't worked out the way she wanted them to so I see her guilt & lack of wanting to place the hostages in more danger that make her actions inconsistent. She has seen Comrade Joo not hesitate to hurt others, unlike Sooho who tries to stop him, which could be why she doesn't fight against him. Also, it seemed like she was going to try & expose Dr. Kang when she yelled she couldn't trust anyone there but then Comrade Joo pulled the trigger.
As for the crying, in her defense, though it's been 11 episodes for us, it's not that clear how many days have passed - she's dealing with self blame, being disillusioned in first love, losing her brother, & being told her dad is willing to sacrifice her/the hostages for his job. That being said, I do think the other characters consistently show other sides to them that makes us feel stronger emotions & therefore make them more interesting.
Like seriously ππsome of you are not even leaving a single chance to discredit main leads characters like…
Everyone has their own preference for what characters & personality traits they like in them. Some like simple characters & others like more complex characters. I do think there are some characters who could have more depth to them but I assume the writer wrote them that way for their role in the story. & because of the way their characters are written, I think each actor is doing a good job with their role. While there's certain characters or things about them I don't care for, the wives are the only characters who I don't see a point to having in the story & want less focus on.
Honestly don't get why you are all hating on Boon Ok for putting a gun on Young Ro, So Hoo did a few times and…
Probably because they think Youngro thought of her as friend & was the only one nice to her. While I liked their interactions at the start of the show, Youngro never really defended her from Hyereong & Boonok only seemed to like Youngro if there were benefits. I only felt bad seeing that scene because Youngro was surprised & I think there was a split second when Boonok felt something too. Boonok had to do what she thought was best for herself, even if we don't like it/think it was the best course of action, so I don't hate her for that.
There's photo stills of him putting it on her again.
She has her hair up in a ponytail again & apparently Sooho will say "you cant stay with me until the end, its dangerous." I'm not sure if that's what he really says though.

Maybe the story would be more interesting with more Boonok type of characters, though we have enough, but I think Youngro being like that wouldn't work for this first "doomed" love the writer is going for.

That depends on the viewer &, though few, there are still some people who are like her. What I meant by saying "I like to see..." is that I like how not all characters are like Boonok & such.
I felt bad for Youngro when she was relieved to see Boonok & said "I thought you'd never talk to me again" & Boonok's face had a slight twitch knowing what she was going to do. It takes some kind of courage to continue trusting others after being betrayed. I do understand why some viewers find Youngro naΓ―ve or don't like her for doing so though.
