Oh gosh never thought twitter was such a toxic place why is everybody fighting over stupid things like are they…
Unfortunately, that's normal for twitter. If you want updates, it's best to only follow update accounts (not fan accounts) or make a list of accounts who don't engage in fights & such.

He is one of the most underappreciated actors imo. Even when he played "only" romance, his performance was always…
I agree. My introduction to him was in Goblin but it was with WYWS that I came to like him. I watched both dramas when they aired & when WYWS ended I lowkey kept up with his dramas. I wasn't always able to watch his dramas as they aired but I always planned to watch them as I really enjoy his acting. With his performance in D.P. & now Snowdrop, I think it's safe to say I consider him one of the best/my favorites. I'm really hoping this year will be even more of a breakout year for him as he reaches new audiences.

He owns every role that he decides to play.
Absolutely. He's one of those actors that you don't mind sitting though a bad drama because of how they bring to life the character that they are playing. In case anyone will take it that way, that's not me saying the dramas of his I've watched are bad.

I’m rewatching Something in the Rain. I had forgotten the emotional depth this drama has and how it will tug…
I'm on episode 12 & I'm so frustrated by characters/situations. But, it's the kind of frustration that keeps you in the story, if that makes sense. I love seeing him play the role of a young & passionate lover. My plan is to watch OSN next so I will keep that in mind :)

I'm really enjoying Haein as Sooho because just like you said the range of emotions he portrays are different…
Yes, I've enjoyed his performance in everything that I've watched him in so far but his portrayal of Sooho is hitting differently. To be honest, I'm a sucker for what appears to be doomed & angsty situations so that could be part of it. I'm still thinking about his expression at the end of episode 9 & will be doing so even after the drama ends. It's going to be one of the moments that when I randomly think about the drama it will immediately come to mind. From what I've seen, I have to agree that the chemistry between him & SYJ has been the best but Haesoo's offscreen chemsitry is trying to blind me.

Every drama watcher have the right to share their opinion here....I haven't seen any blink or sooya writing shit…
I was going to bring up what you pointed out but didn't want people to think I was only saying that because I'm a blink. Though it hasn't been many, I've seen more comments being rude about Jisoo/Snowdrop than I have seen of blinks/sooyas attacking others. The "attacks" that I've seen blinks/sooyas do is ask why some feel the need to police what others write when they're writing about/praising Jisoo &/or SD or wonder why some seem to always nitpick everything about the drama when someone is excitedly hyping it up. (For example, if someone writes SD is a masterpiece for them, then you have someone else comment with all the faults they see in it wanting the original poster to feel the same way). It's naïve to think as once you post something it's open for discussion, but it seems most blinks/sooyas rather focus on the positive aspects of the drama so maybe that's why they come of as attacking others? (By the way, I'm not going to say that no blinks/sooyas haven't attacked others because I do know how some fans can be).

Some may feel as if this discussion shouldn't be brought up here, but this is my take on it as a kdrama viewer…
I know the pinks are all well loved & popular but you're right. Intentional or not, Jisoo has always felt like the undervalued one of the group amongst fans, which is one of the reasons why she's my favorite. Because of those feelings, it's been quite nice seeing nonfans show appreciation towards her & even start to like her. Thankfully, I've mostly seen respectful opinions/comments/criticism about her on here. Either way, even if I do see hate, it's not going to change how I feel about her/this drama.

This isn't Snowdrop related but it is Haein related. I'm currently watching Something in the Rain, as it's one of his dramas that he has a main role in & I've yet to watch. (One Spring Night & The Three Musketeers are the other two). While his role as Woo Tak (from While You Were Sleeping) is always going to have a special place in my heart, I think his role as Sooho is slowly becoming my favorite. It's not because I think Sooho is the greatest character but because of the situation he finds himself in & the range of emotions we're seeing from him. His subtle movements & eye acting has really tugged at my heart. I hope Haein continues to get the acknowledgement he deserves & I can't wait to watch D.P. Season 2 & whatever other dramas he has coming up this year.

To Blinks and Sooyas, as a Blinks and Jisoo stan too, please don't attack people if they have different opinion…
Some may feel as if this discussion shouldn't be brought up here, but this is my take on it as a kdrama viewer who also happens to be a blink. A lot of blinks/sooyas are defensive since there's been attacks towards Jisoo since she was first announced as the lead. Some of that was coming from the prejudice that the kdrama community has towards idol actors, which I understand to some extent. Of course, that doesn't mean that blinks/sooyas should attack others who have different opinions & valid criticisms about the drama/her acting nor take everything as hate. I honestly don't mind those differing opinions because it's weird to think everyone should feel/think what you feel. Also, I know this drama isn't without its flaws & Jisoo can always improve. As long as others aren't trying to force their feelings/thoughts on others, damper viewer's excitement, or try to start arguments, then it's all fine. We can just not interact with them & block them. I didn't mean to make this so long but I didn't want to be misunderstood & hopefully I didn't offend anyone. But, whether you're liking Snowdrop or not, thank you to all the kdrama stans that actually gave this drama a chance.

Also let me add as a blink, we haven't get any comeback from the group for more than a year. It's normal for us…
To add to your point, this is also the first time that I've seen the majority of blinks/sooyas actually ship her with a man. I know she has other ships but they haven't been well received like Haesoo has been, including Haein's fans loving her/the ship as well.

Let's leave the blackpink drama where it belongs, in twitter.
I wouldn't call that a controversy but rather an issue, & not everyone is going to care/think I had negative intentions like you did. If they do, then after reading this thread they'll see I only intended to speak about her experience (& us fans too as we've been waiting years for her lead acting debut). For the most part, I'm a silent lurker & only commented because I felt happy since Jisoo/Snowdrop cast posted pictures on set after weeks of probably not being able to. I didn't think I wrote about anything that shouldn't have been brought up when I see many comments bringing up other dramas/actors/unrelated issues. Though you don't mean to, at times, your comments can come off as condescending & invalidating others' thoughts/feelings, which is why I ignore them/you (& will probably continue to do so in the future). I only responded to this because it was a comment made on my post & I wanted to clear up that what you thought wasn't my intention. I hope you have a nice day & continue to have an enjoyable watching experience.

I didn't think I wrote anything that would cause a fanwar. I even tried to be careful with my wording because of it 😩 I guess "so called fans" is what can cause people to be upset? But, I think most blinks will know that's referring to akgaes & nonfans know it's referring to people who aren't fans. Anyways, thank you for being kind & understanding.

Again, I'm confused to what makes you think you can tell someone you don't know what is right to post, especially when there's no hate involved. & contrary to your claim, it does come off as you trying to censor me. I've seen some of your comments that I felt were trying to bring other issues here, that aren't completely related to the drama, but I ignored because anyone is free to express how/what they feel while watching this drama. Many fans watching are blinks & know what I'm talking about - I've even seen a few comments about it since the show aired but they didn't get much attention with everything else going on. I don't think I wrote anything to start a fanwar, at least that's not my intention. I'm merely sharing my experience as a viewer who happens to be Jisoo's fan.

Everyone is sharing their thoughts/feelings so I wanted to share mine as a Jisoo fan. I see it happen all the time with other dramas too so I didn't think mentioning what Jisoo, as a main lead actress, has gone through would be a big deal 😅

No, I understand. I've loved seeing the pinks shine with their respective solos & it's great to finally see Jisoo have something of her own that we can enjoy. From the way she speaks about her experience & how she interacts with the cast, you can tell how much this meant to her.

@Kimsamsoom I don't tell you to leave your comments elsewhere & we've never interacted so I don't know why you have a right to tell me, a fan of hers who is only commenting on what I saw her experience, what to write.

Being a Jisoo biased blink, I'm so used to hearing her voice in songs/interviews/vlives that I wasn't hearing the issues some had with her pronunciation at the start of the drama. Of course, among those valid criticisms, there was some that made it clear that they just didn't like her voice. (Personally, husky voices like hers are my favorite). As for her acting, I knew she was capable from the small glimpses we had & saw the comments she was getting beforehand from someone who saw the auditioning process, the director, & Haein. However, watching her made me realize what they meant. The role of Youngro was made for her. There are great upcoming & rising actresses but I can't imagine any of them bringing that freshness that Jisoo has brought. Through watching the behind the scenes, you can see how she takes direction well & is acting as what is needed for her character. It makes me excited & hopeful for her future projects, which I hope we'll be hearing about sooner than later. (I would love to see her in a medical or law drama but I think us fans of her need a light drama next). Although it's unfortunate that there was controversy surrounding the drama & some so called fans didn't support her acting (as they blamed it/her for the lack of music released by the pinks as a group), Jisoo's personality is to take things in stride & I'm sure this was a great experience for her. That's one of the reasons why I'm glad that Snowdrop was her first lead acting role compared to a typical school drama or such - not that I don't enjoy those but I like seeing this vulnerable side of Jisoo & how she bonded with the great cast/crew.

I will say one thing, the increased social media presence of the actors is probably a good indication that a lot…
It's been a rough couple of weeks (months if we're talking about when they were filming) but you can tell that they had fun while filming so it's nice to see them sharing those moments with us - that they've probably been wanting to share for so long.
