I am on episode 11 and struggling to keep watching this drama. I really don’t like dropping dramas but the FL is annoying me so much with her childish “mommy mommy” and childish behaviour in general. I don’t know if it’s just the way the character is written or bad acting but I keep feeling the urge to shake her. She spends so much of the drama with a slack jawed expression on her face that I find it difficult to understand why any intelligent man would be attracted to her quite honestly. Someone please tell me it gets better so that I don’t need to drop it.

The series started a bit awkward imo but developed nicely and I ended up enjoying it a lot. The final episode was lovely and I had to laugh at the Squid game reference and ending out takes.

I found this little gem on YouTube. If you want something short, sweet and funny I recommend it. There is a little violence in the last 2 eps if that triggers you but otherwise it’s very enjoyable. I really don’t understand the relatively low 7.4 rating here. I have seen worse shows scoring higher. If it’s because of the ML age that’s silly because he did a great job and nothing inappropriate actually happens.

I enjoyed it a lot, There were plenty of funny and cute moments. I liked that the male lead was so smart and took no crap from anyone. He isn’t handsome in the usual leading man way for a romance drama but he has a certain boyish charm that made him appealing. The lead female character who was also clever and strong was fighting her own battles against a patriarchal society trying to keep her down. I’m looking forward to season 2.

I’m now watching him on My heroic husband but his character is not a nice guy in that. He’s a letch. A good looking letch though.

I can’t believe he is 27! What amazing genes he is blessed with.

I’m on episode 15 and I feel so sorry for the uncle. He thinks he’s dating her because she accepted the wrong bracelet 😢

I thoroughly enjoyed watching this drama. It’s exactly the kind of Sageuk romance that I like and the ending was lovely. Okay I do agree that it COULD have been made in 16 episodes as many people are saying but I must have a better attention span than those commenters because I did not once feel bored or feel the need to skip anything as they say they did. I was very happy with the 20 episodes.

I’m only on episode 6 but wow! There are some seriously psychopathic women in this drama. 😳

Genuinely curious, how can you enjoy all of the subtlety and feeling of a drama at 4x speed? I can understand it for reruns but not first airing,

I don’t understand why some of the reviews are so negative. I found it thoroughly entertaining from start to finish and wasn’t at any point bored. It’s a historical FANTASY romance so you sometimes have to leave your scepticism at the door and just go with it. Giving this show a 4.5 is unreasonable imo as I would only give such a low score to a badly written, directed AND acted drama, this wasn’t any of those.
The last couple of added scenes did make it feel like they left some things deliberately open for a possible second season but otherwise it’s a 8.5-9 for me.

Episode 15 , so good but a tough one to watch. ㅠㅠ

Ugh! I was enjoying this but it has the noble idiocy trope not once but twice. Whyyyyyy? It’s frustrating and spoils an otherwise lovely romcom. There must be better ways of creating moments of tension. I will still give it a 7 but I was going to give an 8 until the noble idiocy.
