"I dont understand why Jack let Dean go knowing he was so drunk."
I've seen this comment all day and I don't think it's fair to shift the blame on Jack just because Dean got drugged. Jack checked on Dean multiple times during their conversation and recommended they go back to the tent but Dean wanted to continue drinking. Dean is grown enough to know what his limits are.
Also we need to remember that this was an outing for the cast and crew and not the entire department. Dean was surrounded by "friends" and peers that he's been working closing with. He thought he was in a safe place to get drunk, but instead he was forced by his "friends" to take drugs. The blame should be on those "friends" not Jack.
raffy’s been having the best sex of his life in different locations✨ and you tell me he still likes jack?…
I don't know why Raffy is so hung up on Jack either. Rome is so perfect! Jack has not paid attention to Raffy. At this point, Raffy just desperately wants what he can't have so he's trying even harder and I think he is out to get Dean. Raffy is in his villain era
Jack: shockingly good at giving relationship advice
Lmao! Jack dated Dean for 2-3 years, I just know that Dean has put him through the wringer. He should know a thing or two about relationships when Dean is his partner.
I've been a huge "it's fine that they keep cockblocking kisses" defender, but today, I needed Dean and Arnold to kiss because I needed the drama. Dean and Arnold not kissing, really, doesn't do much for the plot. It feels like a problem they're going to drag on for the rest of the show, and the impact of not kissing just doesn't seem to be worth the mess that might ensue. This "not kiss" mostly brings guilt to Dean because he's been actively pursuing Jack. But neither couple is officially together, so it's not a big deal.
On the other hand, those dude that pressured and forced Dean into taking drugs suck. For the viewers its very much an assault because Dean said no, and they still forced him. But for Dean, he was so drunk he probably barely understood what was happening; he was vulnerable and felt safe because it was a uni outing with his peers, so he ended up just following along because he wanted to have a good time. Well, that good time turned into a mistake.
Also really wanted to say that it was completely unrealistic for Dean to basically have been cross-faded and still work up early the next morning to go on a run without a hangover. I just know that bus ride did not end well.
I love Rome! He's such a great character in this chaotic group. He's the only character without rose-tinted glasses. I love seeing him call out all the other characters' bullshit this episode. Lowkey, I can't wait to see Raffy chasing him. Raffy needs to dump the idea of getting with Jack. Jack is so far gone for Dean. He's a lost cause. Rome is packaged so perfectly with a bow in front of Raffy, but Raffy won't take the bait. I want to fight Raffy so bad.
Hard agree! Jack's solution was the best for the situation. He had to compromise some way. It's either that or no play. It's really not his fault, it's the system.
To those who say it is not as messy or is not as bold with NC-scenes: can it be that the NC-scenes boldness we…
Definitely! I also want to add that just because the characters aren't making out or having sex with other characters doesn't mean that the series is less messy. OFDO is a completely different plot and a whole set of new problems and characters that is still just as messy in it's own way. If people are looking for kissing and sex between actors, I'm sorry to say that you should start re-evaluating why you are watching BL.
I think Dean and Jack's break up was fair. I saw a lot of comments saying that the reason for their break up was silly. Jack said he was okay with Dean being a host. Jack fully accepted that part of Dean, but Dean told Jack he had stop taking hosting jobs, but still went behind Jack's back to take on jobs anyway. Dean has his reasons to do so, but breaking trust in a relationship is something that is hard to come back from for some relationships.
We don't know how many jobs Dean took that he didn't tell Jack. If someone lies to you enough times, how could you trust them again?
If this series is planned to air in Feb, the trailer will need to come out by the end of next week. So I guess everyone should be on the lookout for a trailer next week. If we are all wrong, then this series might be shelved forever.
Is it typical for some of the lead actors to not be on set for (I think) 5 Qs in a row when there are multiple…
Yeah, I wouldn't worry about it. I think the reason EarthMix are filming as much as they can is because they will be out of the country at the end of august and in september. The OFDO crew are also filming at a very slow rate compared to what I've seen from other gmmtv teams.
Guys, do y'all also think there will be more than 14 episodes? They haven't even started Ploypang and Thap (beyond…
I'm getting nervous for reals. I hope they have at least 16 episodes. Ployjan's story is so complex. We've barely touched the tip of the iceberg of her story. And I really don't want them to rush Thap and Ploykit's story. I need them to get more at least 3 episodes like all the other couples. I don't count Episode 1 as their episode.
Ploy Yearbook is off to good start. It is well-paced. Ploy Suay is so funny. She is definitely the mood maker. I can’t wait to see all the other Ploy’s story.
Also, let’s not kid ourselves. Not a single one of these actors and actresses are passing as a high schooler. Everyone looks like a full-grown adult.
One thing I enjoyed from Ep2 was that Jim still waited for Wen even after he came to the realization that they were from two completely different worlds. Usually, Thai BLs have the epiphany character run off and stop all communication with the other lead, but this series did it differently. I think that's what makes this series special. The characters are mature in the way they act with each other. Jim rejected Wen's advances and Wen apologized for making Jim uncomfortable. It's really refreshing to see.
Why do you think Jim is almost 40? Did they mention his age? Maybe I missed that. The actor is 28, so 40 would…
I don't mind Jim's age that much. I think once we learn about his background story more things will make more since.
The age gap between Jim and Wen also doesn't bother me either. I think it's the fact that Wen is almost 30 that it doesn't phase me as much. If Wen was in his early 20s, I would question the relationship more.

Jim: late 30s, almost 40
Wen & Gaipa: late 20s.
Gaipa graduated college but he didn't want to work in his field, so he decided to help his mom out with her business
Alan: late 20s-early 30s
Heart & Li Ming: M4 student (upper secondary education) around 15-16.
Heart's parent don't allow him to attend school.
Not sure about Praew and Salang since View and Mark weren't in the interview.
But I still think Earth and the rest of the cast delivered perfectly.
