No she didn't, she just GREW UP!!!!. This drama came out in 2014!!! and I'm sure they would have filmed it in 2013. The only surgery/ something of that nature that she underwent was her teeth. Anyone would notice it cause if you watch AOL and GGS you would see that she had shark teeth(i found them cute though 😂😂), but if you watch IS you would definitely see the difference
You can watch it on Wetv now with the proper English subtitles. It wasn't there before and I haven't checked Wetv for a while, so I was surprised to see the drama on Wetv when I checked it a few days ago😆😆😍😍. And from what I've watched, the subtitles are very very okay P.S I also knew about that subtitle problem and it was one of the reasons I did start watching until now.

Yeah me too😆😆, there are rumors that this drama will be refilmed with a new ML, I really hope that it is true cause I want to see Yang Zi as an historical detective 😆😆
