Because she had a nose and lips’ surgery.. and she grew up too
Yeah, she was a little bit chubby before and her face was a little bit round, but she said that fore her role in Legend of Chuse, she had to lose weight. And if you noticed she did start to look different after losing the weight.

No she didn't, she just GREW UP!!!!. This drama came out in 2014!!! and I'm sure they would have filmed it in 2013. The only surgery/ something of that nature that she underwent was her teeth. Anyone would notice it cause if you watch AOL and GGS you would see that she had shark teeth(i found them cute though 😂😂), but if you watch IS you would definitely see the difference
You can watch it on Wetv now with the proper English subtitles. It wasn't there before and I haven't checked Wetv for a while, so I was surprised to see the drama on Wetv when I checked it a few days ago😆😆😍😍. And from what I've watched, the subtitles are very very okay P.S I also knew about that subtitle problem and it was one of the reasons I did start watching until now.
But normally non fantasy dramas might use almost a year before they are released (assuming there were no problems…
Yeah me too😆😆, there are rumors that this drama will be refilmed with a new ML, I really hope that it is true cause I want to see Yang Zi as an historical detective 😆😆
Although I've been a fan of historical xianxia/wuxia C-drama since 2019, I just realized a lot of them would have…

Hope this helps though 😁😁 sorry for the epistle though 😅😅😂😂

Well to answer your question Firstly for this drama, it was supposed to air in 2021, but it couldn't anymore due to Kris Wu scandal (if you don't know then you can check it out later) and so bcs of that the drama was put on hold. The pictures of the drama you are seeing here were the ones that came out when the drama was about to be released. Secondly, c-ent kinda sucks😭😭 (sorry to say), but the government so much controls c-ent now that any small issue, will cause a drama that was supposed to air or something like that to be put on hold or to be shelved, never to see the light of day. K-ent is wayyyyyyyyyyyyy less strict than c-ent in the sense that their government is not too controlling in what dramas are produced. The Chinese government have banned time travel themes, palace infighting themes and so much more too😭😭. They recently decided that cdramas shouldn't be more than 40 episodes and so some dramas had to go under review again 😢😢.
I haven't heard anything regarding that project so I doubt it's true. Yang Zi and Cheng Yi have been together…
Yeah I've watched Noble Aspirations and I can tell you that they were not a couple at all, Cheng Yi was the BF of the guy that she liked, and they have only worked on 2 dramas together not 3
