I feel she felt partly responsible for what happened to the villagers cause at the end of the day her husband did it to protect her 🥲

Mudan LOVES to drink and even JCY acknowledges that so I'm not surprised while for JCY I believe he has to be able to hold his liquor well since he had to pretend to be a charlatan who only drinks and parties

Honestly it's so nice and refreshing seeing wzm take on this role. And as you said Liu chang as a villain is intelligent, patient and figures things out quickly and honestly I love a good and intelligent villain

Honestly I don't blame the dad because we all know how ruthless those nobles are and God knows what they would have done to mudan and her mum if her dad didn't give them the medicine 🥲

So many innocent people died all because of those nobles greed, cruelty and delusions

She thought she helped the villagers not knowing that it all ended up with the nobles and then she got poisoned again 💔💔
