I must say that I loved seeing Huang Chao again and with a meaningful scene too. I like Leon. 😊
me too! He has 3 supporting role dramas going on right now. WRTW, Simmer Down, and Love in the Flames of War (which just came out yesterday). I want him to get more ML dramas. I love watching him, he can play both good and evil so well.
The teasers are getting more exciting than the drama itself currently. Can not wait til episode 25!
Also the teasers have proven he does not know that she is Princess XY. I was torn about this, at first I was so sure he didn't know, but then I was sure he did, because how could he not. 25 and 26 are going to be so good.
Sometimes when I read people's synopsis or comments on the drama, I wonder if they are watching the same drama I am. I am browsing Sohu articles ( no I can't read Chinese, that is what Google translate is for) and came across this article. I was hoping my google translator was off, but I don't think so. **Linking the article and then my google translation**
Plot comment: I saw episode 6 and didn't want to watch it.
The rhythm of the plot is slow, the dialogue is embarrassing and mixed, and the screenwriter cut corners to put the background information in the dialogue for a long time. The martial arts movements are sloppy and unattractive, and the special effects are cheap. The director has to be responsible for the kind of acting that "Ah, I'm dead" in the group performance, which is so embarrassing that the toes are digging on the ground.
The male and female protagonists have no sense of CP, just like two irrelevant people saying irrelevant things in the same scene, relying on some dialogues to emphasize that they are very powerful and bking. In fact, every action and expression are copied and pasted. The most speechless thing is cheap plastic, I don't understand why the investment of hundreds of millions is the texture of cheap small online dramas."
Queen's maid scenes are already getting on my nerves. She's now a voice over, almost like a figment of hallucination…
I don't think they will ever reveal her face. And yes I am so freaking annoyed and aggravated by her scenes. It is getting to the point I almost can't watch when she is interacting with anyone. It takes away from the scene so much.
1st She is the person that the director cheated on while in a relationship with the producer, so the producer had the editing team cut her out of all parts. (this is the most likely reason)
or 2nd She is some major mysterious person that is secretive and has an agenda or works for someone. (I don't think it is this one)
Episode 3 more haters, I want to slap them "soooo" bad! The funny thing is that the FL knows investment more than…
I love the dad. One of the things I hate about "hate to love" rom-coms, is how mean the ML is usually to the female. LJM is crazy rude, condescending, and just an ass****. I would have been out of that company in a heartbeat. They all think they are better than her and I can not wait til she makes them eat their words.
I really tried to stick with it, because of Ding Yu Xi, but Ester Yu I just really find annoying. The story itself for the most part was pretty good. Pretty predictable, but it is like a lot of modern romance dramas. By episode 20, I was fast forwarding through episodes and skipping several episodes. It just didn't hold my attention very well. If you like cutesy, predictable romance dramas than you will love this. I think 36 episodes was way to long for this as well.
waouuhh they are really skillful 🤯🤯🤯, unbelievable , fortunately we have these videos
I agree. I didn't like the animation part on any of the scenes they replaced. Probably the only negative I have about TLB, it makes me think they were trying to get away with saving money etc., in the end it just didn't look good.
What is everyone watching while waiting for new episodes?
Rewatching on Netflix. Also, watching Master of My Own, which I have to wait for new episodes of that as well. And watching Moonlight, because I have never watched it before. When I am waiting for a drama to finish (so I can watch it all in one go) or when I am waiting on new episodes, I will either watch a drama I like that I have seen before or find one I haven't seen that is highly recommended.
Rules of The World:#1 Falling down a steep cliff does not result in death#2 Bai always precedes Hei - it is just…
This is great. I would add: "Bai Fengxi remembers everything she sees. " and "If you are going to dance seductively it must be in a red dress" I just happen to be rewatching episode 3 right now.
So I just started rewatching it on Netflix (after already watching 18 episodes on tencent), cause I want to watch it on my big tv. Is there anyone else who thinks that the person the emperor of Dadong turns to at the beginning is YWY? They only show a partial hidden face, but i really think it is him. I think he knows that the emperor has sent out 6 fake empeyean tokens. It may have even been his plot from the beginning.
