Have you watched Rebel Princess? or Rise of the Phoenixes? Those along with Nirvana in Fire are some of my favorites when it comes to court dramas as well. I mean nothing can beat Nirvana in Fire, but those come close.

I know ridiculous. That producer needs to be held accountable, she has basically stirred up so much from her pettiness.

So the story is that the director and producer of WRTW were in a relationship, the director cheated on the producer with the maid actress (the one that they are keeping off film, who's face we never see, but dialogue we can hear). When they edited the producer made sure they edited her out. Which in my opinion is wrong of the producer. I think she is being very petty and needs to get over herself. I know the maid's part is tiny and not really part of the main storyline, but it has everyone talking about it now. If we had seen her face when she talked, no one would think anything of it, but since it is so obvious the producer basically has made the servant/maid the talk of the series, because no one can see her. So in a way I guess the whole thing kind of backfired on the producer.

I agree. How can a producer basically destroy (although, it hasn't been but could have been) her own film? It shows how petty she is. I understand wanting to get back at the director, but there are other ways of doing it, than using a film where the actors, staff, production team, etc worked hard on. It is disgraceful on her part. I wonder if that maid actress can sue?

So I have read, I have been reading so much stuff over the last few days about all that so I couldn't even begin to tell you where. I just know that it has, lol.

I think all this stuff coming out is rumormongering because WRTW reached 1 billion views. The plagiarism and animal cruelty have already been refuted. The female maid, I believe, is accurate.

everyone that works directly with him, his "man servant", maid, master and the master's two sons, they all know... the FL now knows as well.

now I am going to have to go back and watch the teaser....

good luck, this drama and Sword Snow Stride have been the only 2 dramas ever that I haven't been able to resist watching as they air.

That actually aggravates the crap out of me... Especially when they did a close of the King and Queen talking when she was supposedly "sick". The king turned and addressed the maid and the maid spoke back. I have never ever seen any of these dramas do that, where they don't pan to the individual speaking, or at least zoom out when there are more than 2 people talking.

Lol i know. Shen Yan started put very serious and he wanted nothing to do with the FL and then after only a few episodes he started to fall for her even though she was a bit clingy and annoying. I did not like seeing Crystal Yuan play that character, I don't think it fit her. I see her as a strong, intelligent, independent female lead type character, not what she played here.

I know like Zhang Zhe Han. I so he gets a comeback. I miss him and he is such agreat and wonderful actor. Love him and what some netizens have done that caused his censorship made me so mad.

Episode 17 is when Zhao LuSi's character appears. Basically from this episode and on it is like a whole new drama. It almost seems like the first 16 episodes never existed. ( If you actually ever watch the whole drama you would be what was the point of the first 16 episodes anyway)

Do you like AvenueX? I have tried to watch a few of her video commentaries and I end up disagreeing with a lot of her views so I stopped watching. I like Marcus. I am trying to find some others to watch, but a lot of them are boring.

Internationally, it seems to be a success. In China, not so sure, from what I have gathered there have been a lot of negative things circulating about it, unfortunately. Even before it aired the producer and director have stirred up a lot of stuff, especially the producer. She came out and said a whole bunch of things before it aired. I am not sure what all was posted and said, I can't read chinese and a lot of it is just from people that I follow on youtube and twitter etc.
