LOL, I was like man he is a sissy. I know getting hit with a stick on your hands hurts, maybe, but he made seem like he couldn't take one easy slap on the hand at first. The first one was light compared to the other 2 they did. What kind of punishment was that? LOL
I personally thought it a little anti-climatic. I don't know why, but I was expecting more out of the scene. :(
I was thinking that exact same thing. I thought maybe that I wasn't seeing the whole camera angle or something, because I was watching it on my phone. I am glad I am not the only one, who wonders, who the queen is always talking to.
The subs are misleading. I heard them call her 'shijie' clearly.
I agree. Some of the subs are off and for some reason mine kept disappearing at times. I would have to restart a whole scene over. Maybe my app is buggy.
Always ending on a cliffhanger. I was going to wait til all the episodes aired this week before watching any,…
So first off, let me say the whole time the 1st prince was meeting with the hateful, spiteful, bi*** queen, I was so hoping that he would see through her. I am so glad he did. What an evil evil bi*** and she didn't even bother listening to anything the king said to her, she is still plotting and destroying. I so hope she gets taken down soon, I want to reach through my app and strangle her myself. The king is even worse, he knows it is happening and confronted her, yet still lets her go on. He says he wants harmony and peace, but his actions alone are hypocritical, if he really wanted that he would get rid of her, because she isn't going to stop. I am wondering what it is actually going to take for him to say enough and "off with her head" so to speak.
Also, I understand why Lanxi took Feng QiWu to the forest, but there wasn't any lead up to that. I mean he already has told her that he can't marry her or rather won't. It is like that scene came out of no where or did they cut out a scene we are missing. They want us to believe that FQW is "in love" with Lanxi, but I don't feel that vibe at all. When they are together their conversations seem so stiff and I see no real emotion or feelings from her, so for him to keep telling her he doesn't want to marry her is just filler to me.
I get the whole build up of Gu Yu and the imperial exam etc, just for the one moment BFX figures out that Lanxi and FHX are one in the same, but it seemed so silly to find out that way. I wanted more drama out of her finding out. It was like, oh ok and that was it.
Also, where is the evil sect? It is like they disappeared. They were all over the place and then all of the sudden we don't see or hear from them for awhile now? I want to get back to more of the martial arts and less of the court stuff. I know we are heading that way, with the whole Mount Wu, but we shall see.
Also, if anyone has see the teasers, particularly for 19 and 20. Who is the guy in the cape? He looks familiar, but I don't remember if he is someone we are suppose to know.
Always ending on a cliffhanger. I was going to wait til all the episodes aired this week before watching any, but couldn't wait. This drama is really good, although there were a couple of spots that I found unnecessary and sort of dragged in this last couple of episdoes. Spoilers in reply.
very disappointed with the fact that they did not let Yang Yang use his vocal ...miss his voice :'(
yeah me too, Zhao Lu Si also didn't use her voice either. If they are going to overdub something this great, they should at least use the main actors' own voices, imo
Since I saw the list of most awaited upcoming dramas last month and saw this, I've been waiting for this show…
My take, I think is episodes 1-20 focus more on Yang Yang's character dual life and then 21-40 will be more of ZLS's character's dual life. And of course all along the way, all the people that fall in love with them or their love story.
I think it is the 3rd prince. I think he is more devious than anyone thinks. In one of the episodes after his…
True, maybe he isn't the head, but he is a figure head behind them or he hired them. You never know with these princes. After all, the 1st prince got a lot of men to chase after BFX when she learned his medical secret. The 2nd Prince, HFX, has several hidden locations for the Adobe Sect?, (forgot name) and lots of people hidden in the shadows he built up over the last 8 yrs. So who knows what the 3rd prince has been doing in secret. There are so many hidden things we don't know about him yet, I believe. :)
Discussion thread for those who have seen through episode 12: Who do you think is the likely candidate for leader…
I think it is the 3rd prince. I think he is more devious than anyone thinks. In one of the episodes after his retainer got executed for the shipwreck, he had a conversation with his new retainer, that made me think he had more going on than even his mother knows.
You can watch the long ballad, the romance of tiger and rose, love and redemption, general's lady, the king's woman, ashes…
Nirvana in Fire was so good and also Rise of the Phoenixes. More serious, but the plot and story was probably the best I have seen. I also have to put Sword Snow Stride up there as well, although, a bit disappointing that they were unable to tell the whole story of SSS, maybe they will do a part 2.
Last two episodes are too good guys..the leads are getting close ..their interaction is so sweet..i just watched…
I haven't read the book so not sure, but I think the evil sect lead is the 3rd prince. I think he wants everyone to think he is pulled my his mother's purse strings, but I really think he is a lot more evil than people think.
Also, I love the cuju ball scene. "They're not playing Cuju." "What are they doing then?" "They are flirting with each other."
If you are really looking for a reverse harem the first half of Untouchable Lovers fills that slot. I prefer the 2nd half of that drama over the first. The actors were good, but I hated the whole first half.

I love most of those. The Romance of Tiger and Rose is so one of my favorites. I have rewatched several times. I also really like Jun Jiu Ling, I think Jin Han is so underrated. He is such a great actor, he usually always plays support roles, but his main roles in Jun Jiu Ling and Our Glamorous Time were so good. I would add "The Flame's Daughter", "The Legend of Yun Xi", "The Blooms of Ruyi Pavilion", "Jiu Liu Overlord", and "The Story of Ming Lan", to name a few. There are so many good wuxia and xianxia dramas.
