Hopefully I can explain it well. This happens in the first episode and after it happens, she basically goes back in time about 10 years or so to redo that life. In her first life, the reason she gets shot with an arrow and cause she had joined the then enemy and killed the princess royal, she felt she had nothing to live for as her family and her "husband" were dead (she was told her husband was dead but he really wasn't, as he is the one that shoots her) and she believed the princess royal had everything to do with that. He, the ML, did not know it was the FL when he shot the arrow, as he believed she was dead as well. But all this becomes non existent as she relives this period in her life again.

I pay my Tencent/WeTV VIP quarterly at 21.99 and then I did the express episodes for 5.99, so I am not sure yet if I will have to pay again for the final express, I hope it is covered with the express I already paid.

I stopped watching at episode 12 to let the episodes build up and started watching again and I just started 17 and I feel the same way. I thought what an a*hole. Instead of standing up for his son, he caved to pressure of what his board members were saying. Also, what he said about Hao Chen, I wanted to slap him. I think Hao Ming has been working hard, yes as a person he is a jerk, but business wise he is very smart. He even warned his father not to invest or work with that one guy and that guy got arrested and basically got that new development project started all on his own and now the main company is benefitting. Yes his dad is a grade a jerk.

At episode 37 now, I now understand why all the comments say the Emperor is so dumb. Seriously, I hate when they have stupid naïve emperors. Luckily now, everything is coming together. This story is really good, and I love when I can hate the villains so much that I want to fast forward to get to their fate. This has actually been the first drama in a long time that I haven't skipped any episodes and watched the story fold out. I did fast forward through all the so many flash back scenes but for the most part I have watched this drama in its entirety.

I don't know why I haven't watched this sooner. This is a really good drama. I am only on episode 15, but I am enjoying this so much.

I have to say though, I really don't like the grandmother in this. I usually like the grandmothers in a lot of these costume dramas, cause they usually lean toward the main protagonist, but this one is 1) stupid 2)oblivious 3) does not care about any of her children or grandchildren and 4) I don't find her important or necessary at all in this drama.

I really think she has mental issues.

a lot of people have read the source material and in the source material it says Hao Chen is Hao Ming's son and the teasers actually confirm it now.

I really hate her bio parents, especially her dad. They are so clueless and they think they did nothing wrong.

I do not like him at all, every time he is on screen he gives me the creeps.

I like that "A red flag that hides behind his green flag facade." That so perfectly sums up his character, so far.

I have been wondering about this as well. we see her in the hospital and I think her grandmother paid for her surgery, but they never really go into it or talk about it anymore.

I think it will happen sometime between ep. 15 to ep. 20, if the teasers are anything to go by.

I think she really does love him, but he is really using her and doesn't love her yet.

I am not sure, because I haven't read the novel or source material this is based off, so my guess is Fang Lei's sister. Only cause when she was in the pool she said something like remember how my sister drowned and Hao Ming had this certain look on his face. They seem to have a certain connection.

So it has basically become who can out lie the best. If you watched the teasers, you'll understand. I really don't like this new guy coming in. He has sleezeball written all over him, even without speaking. I think I am really going to start disliking ML's character in the next few episodes.

I think my favorite relationship in this drama right now, is Xu Yan and Qiao Lin's relationship. There is a sister bond, both of them care for each but there is also a bit of resentment on XY's part. I am really liking their interactions.
