ep 4: I cried so hard when xu yan cried, as expected from zhao lusi
Yes, she has such strong emotion, she is one of a very small number of actresses that when she cries you feel it. I wanted to reach through the screen and punch her dad. I was cursing him out so bad while watching that scene.
1st episode in and it is definitely different from ZLS 's previous work. Very mature and kind of a somber (if that is the right word to use), maybe more serious than we are use to. Not sure yet about whether I am going to like this, story is interesting and still seeing if I am getting any chemistry. I am use to build ups of romances, so for it to be right at the start is different. Looking forward to watching more and I love ZLS no matter what. So glad to see a fresh drama of hers.
This wouldn't be so bad if the acting and the dubbing were better. One of the reasons I don't like short dramas that much is because the dubbing and the quality is always so bad. The only reason I continued to watch cause the ML is a hottie and I wanted to see the comparisons of the KDrama "Marry My Husband".
If you haven't watched "Marry My Husband" (K Drama) you must, because it is 100xs better than this. They are basically the same show with just a few changes. Also, the acting is so much more real.
I'm so glad that he's finally been booked as the main lead he deserves after playing second lead for so long.…
Riley Wang has had a few main lead roles. He did a modern drama as a main lead role with Zhao Lu Si called "I Hear You". He is really good, he does deserve a few more leads. I personally prefer him in modern drama vs costume.
Why does this matter what he does in his personal life? This is so aggravating, his personal life has nothing to with the drama. I don't get why people make this stuff an issue. Just watch the drama for the drama's sake, ignore all the personal unrelated to the drama stuff.
Alright, not to be a party-pooper, since the last few comments have been only about the drama, and not the "drama"…
It sounds like Weibo is a breeding ground for hate and malicious mudslinging. I have seen so many stories of actors getting slandered on there. (most recently ZLS).
Another point, I have to say as much as I love watching C Dramas and K Dramas, I prefer Hollywood's outlook on actor's personal lives so much better. Because, honestly, we don't care who dates who (I mean yeah it is tabloid fodder, but it doesn't determine whether they can get a movie or show), what they do on their own time, etc. It isn't about all that for us over here, it is about whether they can act or not or are they entertaining enough. I hate that C Drama actors/actresses can lose dramas/careers and what not because of petty BS or made up crap to slander them (i.e. Xu Kai Cheng, Zhang Zhe Han), it is ridiculous.
I enjoy watching anything with Ryan Cheng, even if I am not a huge fan of the female leads (not saying they are…
Also, I just started watching LOTFG and I don't understand why there is so much negative comments and reviews around it. I know I am only on episode 13, but so far it has been so good and I am really enjoying it.
I enjoy watching anything with Ryan Cheng, even if I am not a huge fan of the female leads (not saying they are bad, just not a fan). I cannot wait for Mo Li with Bai Lu though. I am really excited for that one. I know he always seems to come across all broody but when he does crack a smile it is the best scene. I like the dark broody MLs anyway, they are always the best to watch.
I absolutely loved this drama. This is the first drama where I watched from beginning to end with absolutely no fast forwarding in quite a long time, probably since LLTG. The chemistry between the two leads was phenomenal. Most of the time I give up or fast forward a drama when the leads get together by the middle of it, but this was so different. It was seamless and not overly aggravating. The mysteries (cases, whatever you want to call it) were very intriguing and I enjoyed them all. The main storyline had me guessing the whole entire time. I am definitely glad I waited to binge, because I think I would have been so irritated having to wait for new episodes. This is definitely a must watch.
random question. I notice a lot of comments about how people hate this drama but are still watching up to 97 episodes.…
it's a love/hate relationship, the story started out great and I was quite intrigued, and I stayed 1) because I enjoyed interacting with everyone here on the comments and 2) I really wanted to see where the story was going
Now to be honest I really haven't watched the last week, because it is beyond aggravating and so very unrealistic ( I know it is a drama and it is suppose to be unrealistic) but I mean this kind of goes way beyond unrealistic especially in some areas. I also didn't like when they really amped up the "love" angle. I didn't really think they needed to add that, especially when there is no chemistry. Also, pushing a redemption story, when that person needs punishment before they could even show any signs of being redeemed.
I agree with you about Se Young. She kicked all of this off, never once came clean to her aunt and was perfectly…
Yes, exactly. There are so many things that happened because SY lied to start all of this off. If she had told the truth, they would have been able to know where to look for Yu Jin, Yu Jin would have never (most likely) died, Grandpa tea drinker would have never left, SY and Myeong Ji probably wouldn't be living in that house, Ha Na and JS and the siblings would have their parents, because I don't think Yeo Jin really started her corporate raiding until after Yu Jin was missing. Just a continuous snowball effect from the little lie SY told.
I have not watched an episode since sometime around Monday or Tuesday of last week. I have been reading comments though and I probably won't be watching any episodes except for the last 1 or maybe 2. From reading the comments, I don't like SY, never have and never will. She doesn't deserve any redemption, etc and it seems they are focusing way to much on her in these last few episodes, so definitely makes even more not interested. I was hoping for more excitement these remaining episodes but it doesn't seem like that is going on. I did watch the last 3 to 4 mins of Friday's episode with Myeong Ji getting arrested, even that was anti -climatic. Oh well, I just want to see if they will ever show who Ha Na's real mom is.

Anyway, I am sure this will be resolved soon.
