Ok Question from someone who doesn't know Chinese History.... All these provinces happen to be the same names of the provinces (countries/counties/whatever) as in Who Rules the World. Each province had its own leader (governor/whatever), then of course they were ruled by one King/Emperor who was over all the provinces. My question were these actual provinces in ancient China that is why we are seeing the same names and that is how they were ruled and governed? Just noticing the similarity in the names and was curious. **I really need to read up on all this so I can get a better understanding of the geography and who ruled and what not, so I can somewhat understand these costume/political dramas a bit more**

What I don't understand is the little boy, her younger brother has always been honest with Yuru, I mean he tattled on his real mom earlier, so if he was witness to the concubine throwing the mom off the coach, wouldn't he say something? or did I miss something?

It definitely has all the goods, bads, ups, downs, happiness, and sadness a really well casted drama should have. This really is a one of the top dramas this year and I definitely enjoying it.

If the subs were better, I probably could get into this. I will just wait til a better site like Viki or somewhere else gets it. It just isnt making any sense to me.

I will have to try that. That is what I was told with The Untamed as well, to skip like the first 10 or 11 episodes, I think that is what someone told me. That is another drama that was huge and I couldn't get into it either. I love both MLs in that one, so it was disappointing I couldn't get into it.

He is hot in Love at Night, lol I am actually rewatching it while I wait for other dramas for the 3rd or 4th time.

I really hope Love Never Fails airs. There are two Crystal Yuan dramas I want to watch, that one and the one with her and Wallace Chung, The Emperor's Love.
Liu Xue Yi looks so good in both modern and costume though, so I will be happy with whatever he is in. Especially if he is the ML.

I do too. And I heard they brought the ML from Season 1 back as well, not sure if the FL came back or not. I also read that there might be talks of a 4th Season. I was like Season 3 just ended and a lot of international fans haven't even watched it yet, lol.

CloudA has a discussion thread up above and answers so many questions. I so understand the backstory behind LZS now and why he is doing what he is doing, which actually is making the drama even more appealing.

I want to watch that drama so bad, cause it has so many of my favorite male actors, but I so can not get past the FL, I have tried and tried so many times. It was the same with LBFAD, I could not get past Esther Yu to enjoy that drama. It really sucks when I know a drama is good or would be good and I just can't stand to watch one of the actors, unfortunately.

Is it the one with Crystal Yuan? I really really want to see that one.

LOL, "they just found the time to come to see an execution" right!?! I never even thought of that. I wonder what this means for their economy with all the merchant families either have fled or dead... Sucks to be there now.

YES!! definitely, I notice that a lot with Jeremy Tsui and also Wallace Chung, I am sure there are several more.

I think Business Proposal was the last one I fully enjoyed. I don't watch a lot of costume K Dramas, just because I prefer costume C Dramas and modern K Dramas. Although, I haven't watched Dr. Romantic S3 yet. I will probably enjoy that one when I get a chance to watch, it just finished, so I will probably binge it soon.

I agree, I am a bit tired of all the dark K Dramas. I mean don't get me wrong if there is one with one of my favorite actors in I might check it out, but I prefer the ones like My Business Proposal, Dr, Romantic, Her Private Life, etc. I love the feel good modern K Dramas, not the dark dreary ones. There is one with Bae Suzy coming out soon I am looking forward to though. A couple on Netflix I am probably going to check out as well. But right now, C Dramas are in the lead atm, there are way to many good ones back to back so I don't have time to watch any K Dramas.

I love when actors are so good you hate their character so much.

They really do. There are definitely actors I prefer in costume with longer hair than I do in modern dramas with the shorter hair.

I just going through the cast list and the guest roles have a lot of huge actors in it (not really mainstream), but they are actors you see playing important people in lots of other dramas, particularly the older cast. So neat to see.

Unless I missed something, how can that Commissioner/Governor or whatever he is justify killing so many people. I understand why he wanted to go after the Gu family, they made that clear, but to kill Yuru's father and go after her family, kill all the Ye family, and so many others, just doesn't make sense or there isn't any justification in it and how can he get away with it. I can't wait to see him go down. I hope he is tortured/executed/burned alive or whatever so bad.
