All the other male lead characters Dilraba had tbh were none to my liking except in Love Designer. The King's woman had super coward and toxic male lead, pretty li huizhen's was a super selfish and jerk, Flame's daughter's was bland as hell, Eternal love of Dream's was domineering type bleh!
Because he got into that shape, the Ashina Sun costumes looked soooo dashing on him. So his hard work paid off!…

I love Wu Lei so much now, he's the sweetest guy ever :") Tbh all his characters were different and let him show his versatile acting spectrum. I'll watch all his dramas after The Long Ballad. Rather than most young actors who get explosive popularity from acting in a rom-com, I'd root for his hard work and excellent choice in scripts and cheer him on to the top! JiaYou WU LEI!

I have the same opinion. Out of all the male leads Dilraba has had, Wu Lei is my favorite. Not only is he a gentleman and a funny guy, he's considerate, respectful and protective of her. He knows when to give her comfort enough to make Dilraba play around without restraint and when to act like a bodyguard and let her trust him enough to grab onto his arms all the way. Not only is his character Ashina Sun, the best male protagonist she's ever had, but also Wu Lei as a real person is the best costar she's ever had. And both of them are really alike in personality and thinking. They can have fun around each other all day and laugh at each and every thing. I'm so glad she collaborated with Wu Lei. She earned a great friend.
