While I like both leads I'm not sure if this pairing works for me, she looks more mature next to him, I just have…
What do you mean she looks more mature? Allen Ren's like 3 years older than her! But they look the same age, 'cause Ren looks younger than his age. And director and screenwriter have great previous hits. So I hope they give this novel adaptation the justice it deserves.
Geez I really hope Ren Jialun doesn't try to carry her... If Vengo found it back breaking this may not go the…
I can't see why Vengo being such a huge guy find carrying her back breaking. Johny can lift her up with just one hand, she's so thin. On another note, Dilraba is really good at carrying people. So she'll slay the scenes, I'm sure. Ren's character Chang Yi is a very tall and strong demon merman, he has to be able to carry her twice at the very least to portray it well.
The reasons Dilraba is the perfect choice for the role of Princess Li Chan Ge - 1. The mole under her eyes ( Of course, an artificial mole would do, but the original mole just makes her the perfect embodiment of her.) 2. She guises as a male but is taken for a girly male for being too beautiful. Dilraba wearing man's clothes is exactly like that. No matter people trashing her with racism due to her looks in historical dramas, the truth is she always looks fantastic. 3. Even if the manhua said she looked nothing like a Uyghur but a complete Han, Dilraba's ethnic identity just adds to the fact that this role is as if made solely made for her. 4. In real life, she's a really charismatic & strong girl who can win an arm-wrestling with a security staff, and carry Yang Mi and even a male co-star. But in the past few dramas she's been getting the cutie & helpless roles which led people to draw the conclusion that she's not fit for such strong roles, but she's a perfect fit seeing her feats in swords & fights in King's woman, Hot Girl and Eternal Love of Dream. This will be like her breakthrough role hopefully, breaking out of the typecasted roles. I can't see why people keep popping up trying to raise their voice against her fitting this role. Age? Zhao Liying played Fei, a 16 yrs old girl in Legend of Fei, but Dilraba can't, being so much younger than her?
The Manhua is focused on Action & Adventure mainly, but I wonder why the genre says only Historical, Wuxia & Romance. And in the tags, the most eye-catching tags like Smart female lead, Strong Female lead, Strong Male lead & War strategist etc are missing whereas other dramas tend to include such things. I hope the admin adds these details once the drama airs or sooner.

Glad to see it but also the addition of Action & Adventure in genre is required which will potentially guide viewers better
