So true! Guy is so fixated on the idea of justice because he was never given that. Aside from the killings, Justitia's twisted court ruling is what he is obsessed about. He wants justice served on a hot plate, not a cold body delivered on their doorsteps

Some people cope like that. Aside from receiving punishments, some people want explanation for their actions or to beg forgiveness. Sometimes, knowing your perpetrator never felt remorse is the worst type of pain. Also, in their human pov, they never really knew the extreme brutality those criminals experience before their death. Theyd prefer them jailed forever until guilt eats them up they live a terribly long life than dying easily. Also the court's ruling was like also a form of betrayal so ig that hurts a lot too

Justitia was sent on earth because of her overbearing judgement. She doesn't listen and just straight up punishes souls in her jurisdiction (just like when real bitna explained herself). Her at least realizing that some things are to be considered when you are a demon that represents justice is sort of the point of bael's consequences for her actions

I dont know with yall but demons were angels from the beginning. They had the free will to follow whom, some continued to devote themself to serving God while others followed Lucifer's ideology. God doesnt surround Himself with pre-programmed beings, choices is always within our hands (even spiritual beings). So i think it's plausible that demons in this lore could change.
