2 O'clock Date is a rom-com movie. In Dog Days, the role offered to Kim Seon Ho a guitarist who has to take care of his girlfriend's dog and the movie also the director's debut. I can see why these two movies dropped him on the first place.
Back in September, he got the three movie offers (official article) in less than a month, industry already recognized his talents. Even before the reversal with dispatch first article, there was an industry insider saying he could make a comeback in first half of 2022 with movie/OTT.
His debut movie with reputable director & the director's trust on Kim Seon Ho played a huge part why ST didn't drop him, a movie distributor praised him on her Instagram, and yesterday he ranked first on Gallup survey for TV actor. It might take some time, but he & his career will be fine.

1. Advertising industry is really sensitive if it is related to issue/scandal, but the fact that most of his ads willing to put him back saying a lot about general public opinion in Korea. 2. His latest drama still doing well in Netflix (still in Top 10 Netflix Shows). It also the most watched 2021 Korean series after Squid Game & Vincenzo based on FlixPatrol. 3. Studio Dragon sales benefit increases in the 3Q compared to last year and one of the reason is due to the global popularity of his latest drama. 4. He will play darker role for his next project with a well-known director. This project will challenge him & prove how versatile his acting (also get rid from rom-com male lead trope).
Maybe you don't know, but his fandom is one of the most loyal actor fandom I've ever seen. A lot of his fans willing to splurge bunch of money to support him. Business is business tho. Wasting his power & popularity (also his talents) would be like leaving money on the table. Yes maybe it needs time to let this issue die down before casting him in a drama/movie again.

Yes, I believe general public opinion has changed (more positive towards KSH side) that's why ads brought him back. Because obviously advertising industry has their own advanced research whether should put him back or not. They won't risk their business in the sake of defending KSH.
Theqoo is an online community in Korea. But like I said before, they literally hate everyone. People throwing hate comments easily on that site. But sadly, some media often use that site for referring general public's opinion.
His career is not over, at least yet. Some Korean are not that easily to forgive someone, even with the slightest issue. I know he still receive huge backlash from people in thequ (but most people in thequ literally hate everyone) and some people are not happy about how short his lay low period compared to other celebrities. His name and reputation won't be the same as Kim Seon Ho pre issue. He will be associated with this issue, at least for the next couple years. His next movie will be the game changer, whether he can truly turn the table or not. I really hope it will be a success hit (critical acclaim & commercial success) and I have a high hope from the director's previous works. And since he rumoured to play the villain role, it will be the way to change his good boy trope and show how versatile his acting is. As a fan, I'm beyond thankful to him for not giving up on acting and decided to comeback this fast.
I saw a lot of people saying that in the actual script book, Doha actually apologized to Dusik about the misunderstanding in episode 15. I don't understand why the director decided to delete that part.
