I think 1000 Stars got the best sequel in Our Skyy 2 and I'm not surprised. 1000 Stars itself is a plot-reliant series. It has a complex interconnection of mini-plots and background stories. It has a very strong and unique identity, esp the conworld of Pha Pun Dao and its culture. AFAIK series like this are more likely to have good sequel, prequel, or spinoff.

This series hits me close to home. I cried a lot while watching ep 3 and 4. The story depicts many facets of real life post pandemic. I could feel the struggles of each character, the feeling of desperation, helplessness, no money, not knowing what to eat for tomorrow. Especially Jim's, I couldn't help it I cried because I've been through the same things. It made me really emotional.
Mixed feeling about the last ep. I love the positive messages it conveys. But tbh it's quite confusing and the time jumps are too rough. How did Dan appear out of nowhere? I'm surprised he could walk freely after the betrayal he did to the police institution. I wonder whether they're really time jumps or there are some scenes missing due to censorship.
I'm not gonna lie, the only thing that keeps me from dropping this series is Nunew's smile lol. The story is so so confusing. The acting is so so bad. Zee and Max look like robots most of the time. I'm very surprised because they were not that bad in Why R U. Bad direction maybe? Idk, idk what to say anymore.
In military constitutions, esp in a military dictatorship state like Thailand, the punishment for betraying order is really severe. It's either life sentence or death. Dan's not gonna survive this. He's over.
i love this series so much... oh man. it makes you THINK it makes you question and its not as if it is done so…
So true. I love how this series keep offending me in a good way. Am I really a good guy? Am I a bad person? I'm all gray, depends on the situation. Sometimes I get stuck in a situation where I have to take a choice that is considered "bad" by other people.
- Sean is a bad leader, really bad nobody could convince me otherwise. He's also a bad strategist Gumpa shouldn't let him make any plan ever again.
- Who the hell is that grandpa? My guess is he's the real investor of all Tawi's businesses, the shareholder or some shit. I think Tawi is just a director or CEO or something. But I don't know. That old man just came out of nowhere.
- This series will have an open ending. There's no way they can answer all the questions in just one episode.
- Black is an absolute asshole, but I want to know about him more. I'm pretty sure there was a thing between him and Tod in the past. The scene where he wanted to shoot Tod in the teaser, I could see his teary eyes there. Made me wonder what Tod had said and done that made him unconsciously reveal his soft side. - I think Black is the one who loves Gram, not the other way around, but it's one sided because Gram loves Eugene.
Plot-wise, this is the best Korean BL I’ve watched so far. The story is thought provoking and there’s a good balance between romance and fantasy in it.
But in terms of acting, I think Jimmy’s acting is the weak point. And since he’s the main role in the series, it undermines the emotional nuances within the story.
Sorry to say this, but is this drama really worth all the hype? I was interested in watching it cuz it got so…
Ep 1 is neutral because it’s kind of introduction or prolog. Ep 2-7 are quite fluffy. Ep 8-10 are angst. Imo overall the series isn’t as angsty as UWMA, but it definitely is more serious, emotionally-draining than typical GMMTV BLs.
In the scene where Tian came to Torfun’s house, her aunt told Tian “She [Torfun] run away from home to be with a man who was probably more handsome and well-off than you. How much did she scam you? You can’t ask me to pay it off for her.” I think it implies that Torfun had scammed someone at least once in her past. And that put her in a very serious trouble, really serious it made her aunt assume an unknown man who come to her house is her other victim. After rewatching the series and seeing this scene again, I wonder what made Torfun become the teacher of the village in the first time. It’s pointless to think about though, but it adds another layer to the already rich characterisation and background in the story. Makes me like this series more.

And my current list of sus people:
- Todd
- Gumpa
- Dan
I have a feeling that all of them are cops.
