i've been saying this for a while, i'm sure SK could be the centre of GL production. you see, there has been rising anti misogynist movement in recent years in korea. the incel men that hating feminism is growing (ironically). we also had seen how gross South korean men are with NTH room, burning sun case, AI deepfakes, etc. I'm not saying that women there should become lesbian but if they could potray GL to become mainstream media, it could beat the mainstream hetero dramas. The mass streaming culture had proven to be done better by women. together with this opportunity, GL industry could be the yaoi-in-Japan level.
