I think people are starting to give low ratings because there are no subtitles... MDL shouldn't allow this. China is stupid, yes, I hate them right now, TOTALLY YES! But actually the creators don't owe us anything, they make these dramas mostly for their local people, so revenge rating is stupid.
It's beautiful and great, very high quality in terms of cinematography, acting and script. But this isn't for people who like a quick, shallow story. It's long and the story takes it's time to unfold. I didn't think it was boring for a second, but if you are used to quicker dramas you will get a shock.
It's not that I don't believe the company, it's that the same statements were given two years ago with Justice In The Dark: we will solve the issue and be back soon. Well, the soon is already two years and counting.

The mere comparison makes me a bit nauseated. Heartbeat was a badly written/acted drama, with or without a vampire. One is a beat up old car and the other is a brand new limousine.
